Lovely and relaxing will return again
A lovely setting with plenty of local facilities, a great property. No issues at all. Really enjoyed our stay. Thanks
A great place to stay and relax, within easy reach of padstow and Newquay. Very clean, comfortable and lived up expectation. The wood fired hot tub was the highlight. I would highly recommended to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway.

Lovely stay. Will definitely come back!
Thank you for everything, we had such an amazing time staying with you and will definitely be back
Our 4th stay at Pengelly Farm and it didn't disappoint. Wonderful hosts and a great couples retreat.
Lovely peaceful holiday. Great hot tub and shepherd hut.
Nasira
This stay was above and beyond all our expectations. The owners are lovely, left us fresh milk, and the hut had everything in it you could need for your stay including a small stove and kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery. The bed was comfy and the shower and toilet clean. We LOVED getting into the wood fired hot tub every night watching the sun set over the fields. Pure bliss. We have now said we will come back every year. If you are thinking of booking a stay at Skye Cottages please DO IT.

My husband and I decided to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary at this place and we were happy with our decision 100! We havent been away from kids and havent spent time just two of us for nine years. And wanted a secluded, quiet and romantic place with a hot tub and fire pit. We got all what we wanted and hosts were so welcoming and hospitable! We felt looked after and at the same time without any pressure or feeling that anyone is around. We enjoyed fire pit and got wood supply without any limit and we appreciated that this hut had everything one needs for a getaway like that. It was cosy, warm, sparkling clean and very comfortable everywhere. It has all a couple needs for a romantic stay! Bed sheets were fresh and crispy and plates, cutlery and cooking appliances were hug quality and it was nice to eat and drink using them. Hot tub was amazing! It gave us couple of hours of joy and pleasure sitting watching stars and enjoying silence and listening to music! Loved every minute there and I agree with other reviewers that this is a place to remember and keep coming back to. Its definitely on our list to come back when we get another chance! Lovely place! Thank you to the hostsowners! We will be back
The shepherds hut was situated in a nice location with plenty of privacy. The owners were very friendly and helpful during our stay even though we only saw them at the beginning of our stay. They ensured that there was plenty of wood for the stove and hot tub and were easily contacted if required. The only small drawback was the sound of the dairy farm from around 5am but that is to be expected when staying in a rural place! We would highly recommend this place for a relaxing holiday!!!
Michael
Amazing property, everything you need for a comfy private vacation. From the hot tube to the huts utensils everything is well throughout. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing comfortable break. I will definitely return.
A great place to stay, the hut had everything you require, with added touches that made it very welcoming and comfortable, in a lovely private location. Estelle was very friendly and went out of her way to please, the surrounding areas where very beautiful and the hot tub was great to return to after a day out. We really enjoyed our stay and say thanks to the Pengelly farm family. Would definitely return in the future. Thanks John & Karen.
Thomas
A perfect little shepherds hut, nice a quiet with everything thought of. Would highly recommend.

We have just returned from a two night stay and have only one word to describe our experience, fantastic! ! . What a lovely place, super interior , comfortable bed, nice bedding, good facilities, wood fired hot tub, secluded spot. We loved it, cant wait to come back.!!
Peaceful, tranquil and beautiful. The shepherd hut was just what we wanted. Beautifully decorated, real wood burners and the hot tub was a lovely touch. Not too far from the nearest town, it was a lovely couple of days away from it all. Thank you
Joanne
Lovely cosy hut, suitable for 2 people. We had the best stay there. Clean and tidy. Beautiful and quiet. Hot tub was spectacular. Thank you
We had a wonderful stay, the setting is gorgeous, the hut was incredibly well kept and had everything we could need in it, the hot tub was really relaxing and keeping it going ourselves with the log burner was actually quite fun. We had a great time using the hut as a base when we went out in the day before coming back in the evening, the sheltered outside area was a nice touch and allowed us to have dinner outside most nights. The only tiniest quibble I could have and this is picky, the front door of the hut was very stiff, and pushing it closed enough to lock required really putting your shoulder in, fine for us we're fairly young, but I can imagine an older couple struggling with it. That's it though, otherwise we had a perfect little escape and we will definitely be back in the future.

Fantastic weekend very chilled out and stress free! Owners were lovely 100 recommend to any one after a relaxing weekend!
Nicola
Lovely cosy accommodation in a beautiful setting. Very comfortable and well equipped too. The owners were friendly and helpful. Loved the hot tub. We hope to visit again!
Private and peaceful, just what we needed. Owners were friendly and showed us around when we arrived. Plenty of fire wood for the hot tub just a perfect few days.
Nicholas
Lovely our few days stay. So peacefull and the wood heated hottub was excellent.
Beautiful setting fabulous facilities and one of the most relaxed and enjoyable holidays I have had! Would definitely stay again!x
It was exactly what we needed! The perfect little retreat with complete privacy and gorgeous views. Even the rainy days were lovely with the wood burner in the cozy hut. The owner was lovely and we cant wait to go back again!
Just love this place. This was our second stay here and it was every bit as good as we remembered. Beautiful shepherd's hut, with everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. The new decking area meant you could find a spot to relax in the sun, or cool off in the shade, from early morning to late evening. It's set in the perfect location for beautiful walks along the camel trail. There's plenty of places locally to visit, if you care tear yourself away from the farm. Would love to return but with prices doubling for the same week next year we may have to save up for a while first.
Stephen
3rd time Stay at this location & still smitten over it have booked again for next year.
