Gorgeous cabin with breathtaking views. We will definitely go back. The walk to the local restaurants is really lovely, just a bit tough on the way back up after a very large lunch! Would highly recommend
Lee
Great stay. The location is right out of the way with beautiful views - a real escape. Handy enough for local amenities, we drove for a meal out. Takeaways deliver no problem. Hosts were on hand when we needed help. Property is modern and clean. Loved it!
Eleanor
The cottage was in an absolutely lovely location and was very well equipped; we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had enough space and enough privacy from the other cottage. Picking up the keys was very easy and the hosts were very contactable. The inside looked lovely and all the fixtures were very modern and high spec and well-k ept.
Katie
Absolute hidden gem, just returned from a 7 night stay and loved it. Location perfect as was the cabin and hot tub. Great base to go off exploring local areas. Definitely recommend.
Stuart
Great cottage, lovely location. Beautiful views. Very helpful owners literally saved our break by helping find a garage when my car needed repairs. Very peaceful area yet close to lots of locations, Glasgow, largs etc. Hope to stay again next time we're up visiting.
Andrew
The lodge was lovely and the view over the countryside to local loch was wonderful. We did a lot of walking and it was great to come back and ease our aches and pains in the hot tub each day. As well as some nice walks locally, it is less than an hour's drive to Loch/Ben Lomond (just into the highlands), and a just over hour to Edinburgh, both of w hich are well worth a visit. I would thoroughly recommend Oakwood Lodge.

A lovely home from home in the middle of nowhere, yet only 20 minutes from Glasgow! This lodge is very special, being one of only two, set in a well laid-out plot with ample parking. A beautiful view across the valley towards the Loch, with only wildlife and stars for company. Yet the nearest shop is 5 minutes drive, a Tesco superstore 10 mins away . A great spacious venue, with lots of nice touches, especially the Hot Tub which was in use every evening! Owner was fab and even left Wine! Stunning
Karen
Excellent well equipped lodge in a tranquil location but close enough to visit many places of interest. Had great communications with owners and queries answered very quickly. Dog friendly and added touches of dog bowls and bed in the property.

The Cabin was great, everything there you needed for great holiday. Views were terrific and couple of sheep in paddock in from of cabin had twin lambs during stay which made stay even more memorable. Hot Tub was great to help relax away from stresses of work and helped make a great family holiday, in quiet setting with very little traffic or people around. I would highly recommend this cabin and hope to return soon.

A lovely long weekend spent in a beautiful and peaceful location. Oakwood Lodge was clean, spacious and well furnished with wonderful views of the loch and surrounding area. Even the stormy Scottish weather did not stop us enjoying the relaxing hot tub! Elizabeth was a friendly and attentive host. Nothing was too much trouble and she left us a very generous and delicious welcome pack which was very much appreciated. Highly recommended, we look forward to returning soon.

We had an excellent stay at Oak View Lodge. The accomodation was excellent, clean and well equiped. We got a lovely welcome pack including a very nice bottle of red wine and some chocolates which was very much appreciated. The view over the loch was stunning when the sun came out, even better from the hot tub. Would definately reccommend the lodge to family and friends. Thanks Elizabeth x

The property is excellent, well laid out, spacious and has stunning views. It is in a good location, close to all the amenities of Glasgow city and also close to the beaches on the west cost. There are plenty of country walks close by. The owner, Elizabeth, is lovely and took the time to ensure we were enjoying our stay and made us feel very welcom e. The welcome pack was a lovely touch as were the towelling robes. The property is perfect for a family of 4 or 2 couples. Would definitely recommend
