We stayed as a family with 2 teenagers & 2 dogs. The property is in a lovely secluded cul de sac of 9 properties. Arrival package a nice touch. The downstairs is beautifully laid out & provides ample space across 3 or even 4 separate rooms. 3 beautiful fires provide ample heating & the games room outside is where we spent the majority of our time p laying pool. Well stocked kitchen. The master bedroom is huge along with 2 further doubles & a twin. Fantastic property & we will definitely be back

Good location, great house with lots of room and great quality furniture. We spent most of our time in the huge kitchen/diner. The hot tub was great as was the pool and fuseball table in the outside garden room, which our party used a lot. The owners were very responsive to our enquiries whilst at the house and very friendly. Highly recommend a sta y here.

Truly exceptional cottage, very clean, modern and furnished to a very high standard. Felt very spacious. We were a group of 8 adults but never felt crowded. Kitchen was fully equipped. Lounge very comfortable and very impressed with the 75 inch TV! All rooms were very comfortable. I have no hesitation in recommending this cottage.

We had a lovely time at this beautiful home from home over new year just gone. The house is lovely and the owner was very welcoming and we loved the little welcome gifts. We suggested some things to help make it just a little bit better and the owner got straight on to these! The property was so nice we have re booked and taking our family up there again in a few months! We highly recommend this as a home from home to enjoy and relax.
Christine
We spent Christmas at the house. It was decorated. We walked in and it looked beautiful like a winter wonderland. The house was warm and welcoming and Andrew the owner left us some Christmas goodies. My whole family loved it. The men really enjoyed the games room. Heated by wood burners in this room and throughout the rooms down stairs we had fires in the woodburners, so looked really Christmasy. We loved it all. And nothing was too much for the owners. We would go back. Outstanding holiday

Attractions Near Mulberry House

While there'll be plenty to keep you entertained an Mulberry House itself, if you plan to get out and about and see some of what Norfolk has to offer, here are some of the nearby attractions you can enjoy during your stay. Please note that some of these activities and days out are paid and it's always a good idea to book in advance to secure your place where applicable.

Found a special day out near your cottage? Please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too!
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 5 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Bewilderwood - NR12 8JW
about 8 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 13 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 16 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 17 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 18 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Banham Zoo - NR16 2HE
about 21 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park - NR32 4TZ
about 25 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
Africa Alive - NR33 7TF
about 28 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
