A place not to be missed.

With great living space downstairs and five generous en-suite bedrooms upstairs, Meadow View provided excellent holiday accommodation for the whole family. The accommodation was clean and lacked for nothing in terms of equipment and facilities. And finally a special thanks to the owners, Lucy and Dave, for all their friendly help.
Jean
Meadow View is a top-rate holiday house with a designer flare! All the furnishings and equipment are to a very high standard and it was a pleasure to stay there. We are a group of friends who holiday together regularly and this was the best house so far. One of our dogs is an escape wizard, but she was completely foiled this time as the beautiful l arge garden really is dog proof. Walks directly from the house were much enjoyed by all, especially along the well surfaced disused railway line.
Julia
This was one of the best holiday homes we have ever stayed at . We were a multi-generational family group and the 5 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms was perfect . The house was very well equipped and everything was top quality. We loved the hot tub and the garden and enjoyed walking on the Lanchester Valley Path. As this was a special celebration, we hired Mike, the chef that Lucy suggested, for a fine dining birthday meal. It was fabulous and we throughly recommend this to anyone thinking of it
Ian

This property is an amazing place for a holiday. The house itself is clean, comfortable and has many practical and fun features. The welcome was very much appreciated and the local eating places were all of a high standard. We were able to easily relax and enjoy our time together with friends, going for walks, eating out, eating in, and generally h aving a fun time, with no pressures. We certainly will go back again as we would also like time to explore more of the area.

An extremely comfortable and well equipped house in an excellent, quiet location, but a short walk along the Lanchester Valley railway path into the town with shops and restaurants. The railway path runs behind the house and gives access to a number of interesting walks around the area

Everything was just perfect, beautiful house, great facilities and a wonderful warm welcome! The hot tub was just fabulous, rooms so well appointed right through the house and every last thing you would want is there for all ages....toys, games, cooking facilities, everything! The welcome pack was way more than we have ever had in other properties and so wonderful to see the range of local goods and produce - even down to eggs from the farm laid that very morning. The owners have gone the extra mile. We cant recommend Meadowview House enough.
