When the weather permits, breakfast can be enjoyed in the very private garden, enjoying the sunshine, before you head out for the day to explore. In the evening, enjoy settling into the relaxing sitting area and enjoy a cool beverage as you reflect on the day's adventures. Freshen up in the hot shower or take a long soak in the bath, before settling into one of the three cosy bedrooms, a double and two single rooms.

The ease to visit the historic centre of beautiful York is provided by the nearby Park and Ride bus system, allowing you to maximise your holiday time. York is a fantastic location, with plenty of history and astounding stories to tell, as well as a great range of tasty eateries, pubs and independent shops to browse at your leisure.

For an insight into the local history and heritage, head over to the Jorvik Viking centre, walk along the Roman walls. Explore York's magnificent historic Minster and explore a selection of museums within the City of York.

Castle Howard is also a wonderful stately home to visit, which can be found by a short drive from York. A little further from the property, embark on a countryside walk through North York Moors National Park, or visit the famous coastal town of Whitby.
