The Gardeners Cottage Richmond Reviews

Emma
We stayed at this lovely cottage and honestly, it was fantastic. The welcome pack was a real treat - Prosecco, baconand the best butter we’ve ever tasted! The place is super cosy, perfect for our family of four. We loved the hot tub and made good use of the log burners in the evenings. Our daughter’s allergy was a concern, but there was no sign of any dogs having been there, which was a relief. The location is great too, nestled in a private estate with easy access to the Dales and North York Moors. Would definitely recommend!
Claire
We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The huge fenced gardens were perfect for the dogs to run around without us stressingand starting the day with a walk on the estate was lovely. The cottage itself was comfy and peaceful, though you do hear the A1 from the garden, especially when it's wet outside. If your dogs are reactive, just a heads up about the horses and other dogs in the main house. Overall, a great spot for a quiet getaway with plenty of space for everyone.

We had such a lovely stay at the cottage! It’s super cosy and beautifully decorated, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The outdoor space is fantastic, especially the walled garden with the hot tub-such a sun trap and really private, apart from the horses in the paddock who loved the attention. The estate is great for wandering aroundand everyone’s really friendly. We booked again before we left, couldn’t bear to leave. Thanks for a brilliant holiday!

Situated in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire this popular theme park makes a fantastic day out for the whole family.  The more daring will love the big and thrilling rides such as Raptor Attack, The Ultimate and Trauma Tower.  For the little ones there are some excellent attractions such as Flying Camels, Dodgems and a Magic Wheel.  Toddlers will like the Dragon Boats and the Lightwater Express amongst other things. There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too.  If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.
