This has been the best holiday home weve stayed in. It had everything we needed and more. A very well equipped and spacious property, able to comfortably accommodate a family of plus carers, and only a short walk from the centre of Yarmouth.
David
The Cottage is beautiful. Designed with all the little comforts in mind, easy access to the garden and the downstairs accessible bedroom is just brilliant. Its rare to find such thought and effort put into accessible facilities. The hot tub looked very inviting but we did not use it as the weather was too grim. We very much enjoyed our stay at Westport Cottage with our son and his family. I have found it very difficult to find suitable holiday accommodation for my husband who is 89 years of age with dementia, poor sight and limited mobility. Westport Cottage with its wide corridors, open plan living area, excellent lighting and with a bedroom downstairs wRead moreith an adjoining wet room made it an ideal place for us to be able to holiday with our family. Lovely cottage, very private garden, quick to get into Yarmouth where there were great pubs and eateries. Good location for West Wight, excellent bus service around the Island.
Craig
Wonderful property, really enjoyed our stay, wish we could have stayed longer. Lovely garden that the dog thoroughly enjoyed, hot tub was amazing. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to have a bit of luxury on a holiday.
Alison
Overall we had a very good stay and would recommend this place to others. It has good access to the centre of town. I would say that the sink under the cupboard's is unusual and leads to taller people often banging their heads when using the sink.
Maureen
This is a beautiful house in a lovely location, close to Yarmouth.
Amanda
Lovely cottage. Very spacious downstairs with super facilities. Great location. A very short stroll into Yarmouth with lovely bakery, deli, coffee shop and restaurants. The hot tub is a wonderful addition to the cottage too.

This is such a lovely place to stay. So spacious and comfortable . Especially good if you have a less able guest as the downstairs bedroom and wet room so well equipped, really made our holiday so much easier than normal. Great location too. Extra points for also being dog friendly We truly had the best stay and would 100% love to return.
Kate
WOW! What a fabulous place to stay. My 3 generational family has been visiting the island for 12 years now and we all agreed that this has been our favourite house. Bright, comfy, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Lots of space, beautiful garden, great location - a real gem! Wheelchair friendly with a folder of tips for excursions that take into account disabled access etc. Limited parking (off road) - we had two cars which was tight but doable. 5 stars!
Hayley
Absolutely fantastic stay at Westport again. Loads of space, warm and welcoming. Dogs loved the fully enclosed garden. Hot tub was great, very big. House stocked with all youd need for a self catering holiday. Also recreation ground literally 10m from front door great for dogs and kids and definitely recommend off the rails cafe just 5 mins away. G reat walks and Yarmouth on doorstep.
Michelle
This was our second time staying at Westport cottage and it didnt disappoint. Still immaculately clean with lots of kitchen and household appliances to make good use of. The hot tub and the wood burner were both used to full capacity even though we had superb sunny weather for the whole week. The garden is a beautiful sun trap with wildflowers grow ing which is very secure for our two dogs. A stones throw away from Yarmouth with. Its lovely eateries.
GEOFFREY
Lovely cottage great for visiting west Wight, clean spacious and well equipped especially if you have a disabled family member or friend in your party, easy to find I would highly recommend staying here.
Kim
Cottage was perfect accessability was fantastic, with accesibility to all downstairs areas of house and garden. It was clean and tidy and well furnished making it feel like home from home.
Pauline
This was a perfect retreat for our seven strong family over a long weekend. Beautiful house and garden with all our home from home comforts provided. The hot tub was welcome in the absence of warm weather swimming. Thank you.
Karen
We love this house and garden, this is our second visit here and won't be our last. Being colder, ensured the log burner was used more often than the hot tub. Some parts of the kitchen could do with replacing, but everything is more than serviceable. The new additional garden/patio furniture is great. The question now is do we book for Summer or Ea ster 2024?
Susan
Great cottage in a great location for the harbour town of Yarmouth. Large family kitchen and diner was able to cater easily for a family get together for New Year. Good secure garden for the dogs and a lovely hot tub.
Julie
The place was lovely and well equipped. It was decorated for Christmas which was amazing. The place was very warm and everyone loved the hot tub. There was a park next door which was great for the dogs and children.
Debbie
Wonderful holiday. The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable. The garden was completely secure for the dog. Lovely location with lots of wonderful walks nearby and very short walk to local shops and dog friendly pubs. Park right next door if you have kids. Aga range was fantastic if you love cooking like I do with loads of pans etc suppli ed. Would definitely stay there again.
Charlotte
We visited as a family of 6 adults. Enjoyed our stay with two dogs. Kitchen and dining area huge and open plan with cosy seating areas to the sides - perhaps designed for break off groups not 6 adults in one room though. Garden and hot tub were greatly appreciated but latter a bit cool. Our beds were all very comfy and house very well heated. Bit t oo hot but we are from the north and it was 18 in November! Overall would definitely recommend and we would love to return. Thanks for having us
Michelle
A fabulous house in a great location. 5 mins walk from Yarmouth with great restaurants and seaside/harbour vibe. Layout of the house is great, superb facilities, lots of kitchen equipment and DVDs and games. Hot tub and garden are wonderful. Very dog friendly and safe. Driveway a bit tight for a big car! We were just a couple with 2 dogs so the hou se was more than spacious for us but would suit a bigger family with the room choices. Rebooked our return for May next year. Thanks for a great stay
Nicola
We stay 16-23 Sept. Family of 4 with 2 teens. We have a fabulous stay at Westport Cottage. The home is very comfortable. We could have stop for another week if it had not already been booked. Close to shops, walks and a beach. Easy & close drive to other beaches like Colwell Bay (also no. 7 bus) which we enjoyed swimming in. Colwell for Ryde is gre at for little ones. Beautiful garden and clean hot tub. Great wifi. There are towels there. Plus having a washing machine. Lovely place to stay.
Tony
We loved Westport Cottage! So handy to be able to walk into Yarmouth. The downstairs space is brilliant - especially if someone wants to watch TV, and others don't! The utility area, and, of course, the hot-tub, was greatly appreciated. Great property, great holiday! Thanks.
Josh
Lovely spacious house in a great location, well equipped and comfortable.
