Dorset Escape Reviews

Emma
We had a really nice stay at this spacious Bridport home. The place was spotless and perfect for our family, with big bedrooms and comfy beds. The kitchen was well-stocked, making cooking easyand we loved the outdoor seating when the sun was out. The indoor pool and cinema room were real highlights. All in all, a great spot for a break!
Emma
We stayed as a large family and really enjoyed this lovely house. The place was spotless and the garden was fully enclosed, which was great for our dogs. The bedrooms were super comfyand having two dishwashers was such a bonus! The swimming pool was a big hit for both kids and adults. The only thing is the ground floor sitting room isn’t huge enough for everyone to sit together, but luckily the weather was fantastic. Definitely recommend!
Emma
The house was perfect for a big groupand the gardens are stunning. We enjoyed peaceful walks nearby, didn’t even need to use the car all weekend!

We picked this place for my dad's 70th and it turned out to be just what we needed. The farmhouse was spacious and had everything we wanted, plus the location was stunning. The facilities were all in great shape, though the pool could’ve been a bit warmer. One thing that was a bit odd was the en suite downstairs opening directly into the hall, which felt a bit awkward and not very private-had to walk through the toilet to get to the bedroom. Still, we’d recommend it!
Emily
Honestly, Dorset Escape was just what we needed! The place is beautifully decorated with a modern touch but still keeps that charming historic vibe. Each room had its own character, which we really enjoyed. The facilities were top-notch - super clean and well looked after. We spent loads of time in the garden and by the pooland it’s got such a lovely setting. We’re definitely planning to come back for another stay soon!

We had a lovely stay at this house! The setting is stunning and it’s so well equipped, really makes you feel at home. The shabby chic style is perfect for relaxing - no pretensions here. The beds were super comfy with nice linenand the kids loved the games room, pool areaand cinema. Our grandchildren, aged 15, 11, 8and 5, were kept entertained for ages. The gated space by the utility room was handy for drying wet dogs before they came inside. We’ll definitely be back!
Emma
Really enjoyed our stay here! The place is super family-friendly, comfyand the outside catering was a lovely touch. The pool was a real highlight though!

The location is handy, with a pub nearby and supermarkets just a short drive away. Everyone loved the pool and hot tuband the maintenance team was quick to sort out any minor issues. Great experience all round!

The rooms were comfy and there were enough bathrooms for everyone, which was a real bonus. The kitchen was well equippedand the barbecue made outdoor dining easy. We recently stayed here with a big group-nine adults and seven kids-and honestly, everyone had a fantastic time! The pool was a real highlight, perfect for relaxing or splashing around. The cinema room was a huge hit with the little ones, giving us all some downtime. The house itself is beautifully decorated and really well thought out, with plenty of space for everyone. Plus, the location is spot-on for exploring the area. Our dogs loved the garden too, which was safe and spacious for them to join the fun. All in all, a brilliant stay-thank you!

We stayed as a group of 8 with 3 dogsand honestly, the place was perfect for us. There was plenty of space in the farmhouseand having the pool, saunaand hot tub right outside was a real bonus. The house was spotless and nicely furnished. When it cooled down in the evening, the big fireplace with a wood burner was just what we needed. The garden was dog-proof, so the pups could roam freely without us stressing. We all agreed we’ll definitely return - can’t recommend enough!
Emily
We had an absolutely lovely stay at Dorset Escape. The house was stunning, with gorgeous gardens and a really peaceful location. Everything was so comfortable, especially the beds - they were seriously good! The kitchen had everything we needed, two dishwashers were a lifesaverand the dining area was perfect for family meals. We loved the glass room with the fridge, the pool was a great sizeand the jacuzzi was a real treat. We can't wait to come back!
James
We loved the cottage - it’s beautifully decorated and super comfy. The garden was perfect for relaxing, really well looked after. Our main gripe was the Wi-Fi, which was pretty rubbish the whole time, making the cinema room pointless. Also, the directions to get there could definitely be clearer; some of us spent ages trying to find it. Still, a lovely spot for a chillout break!
