Fantastic last minute trip for me and my partner, the house and surrounding country side are beautiful! Hosts were lovely very tailoring to any needs. Top tip for those who have not used wood burning hot tubs before, they take a wee while to warm up but on the flip side, if you go too far, they take equally as much effort to cool down . We had a wonderful week! No 1 Curwens is a beautiful cottage which is to a high standard and very comfortable in very picturesque surroundings. The hot tub was pure luxury situated in a private enclosed patio area, sooo relaxing. We were made to feel welcome by the owners, thank you for the Prosecco and milk, a lovely touch. Plenty of locations to visit/walk including the fields opposite the cottage where we walked the dog to Melbury Beacon, stunning views. We didnt want to come home!

We loved our stay at number 1 Curwens, the cottage is of high quality with lovely Oak flooring and exposed beams. The pictures online do not do it justice. The wood fired hot tub is an added bonus. Our dog loved the large grass area at the back of the property.
Andrea
Had a 4 night stay here at the end of Feb after a delayed journey, arrived to find lights on and a bottle of fizz waiting for us. What a lovely property, comfortable and perfectly equipped with some lovely original features. Hot tub was amazing, lovely and warm (once we got it up to temp) and spent hours star gazing and looking at the lovely view. Lovely location and views. Shops only a short drive away. Lovely location and will definately book again.

Wow! What a fantastic place to stay. My partner and I stayed here for two nights with our Dog and really enjoyed ourselves. The place was beautiful, and the hot tub was a fabulous addition! We used it every night! The area was beautiful with fantastic views all around. Plenty of activities to keep busy, even with the weather in early January! Thank you!
Karl
Wonderful barn conversion and it was slightly larger than we had originally thought too. Everything was super clean, cared for and a high standard. The little starter kit was a lovely touch and meant we could get the log burner going straight away. We struggled with the hot tub to start with (our fault for getting there late) but the next day it wa s toasty hot and the views over the fields are great. Would definitely recommend to others.
