The location is ideal and within 40 minutes of coastal towns and within 15 minutes of the nearest town (Lampeter) with shops and restaurants. My boyfriend and I had the most amazing weekend and are so sad to be back to reality. We had a lovely stay at the Machlud Ar Y Dwr Pontfaen cabin. The lake opposite our pod was beautiful and we saw plenty of wildlife, even an otter that we spotted a few times too. The pontfean hosts were lovely,super friendly and helpful and there was even the nice surprise of a freshly baked Sourdough loaf and Welsh cheese on our arrival. The facil ities were great, we were able to do laundry on the site, a smart TV with WiFi available and board games. Would definitely go back and stay again.

We loved the pod but extremely remote no attractions or pubs in walking distance. Great for going off grid The pod was well equipped and comfortable. The hot tub was easy to operate and in a lovely romantic setting.

Lovely lodge, friendly owners and perfect location if you want to chill out off grid in the middle of fields and wake up to the lovely sound of birdsong and the odd moo from the cows over the back. Wi-Fi is hit and miss at but as expected in the middle of no-where and made it all the nice change to be offline at times. Not ideal if you have to work from the lodge but perfect for a little get away and quality time together. Hot tub was lovely too and well maintained.
