The unspoilt Abererch beach, backed by soft sand dunes and surrounded by wonderful views of Cardigan Bay and Snowdonia, is just a 5-minute walk from The Stables via a footpath opposite the property.

Stretching all the way round to Pwllheli, it’s popular for activities including windsurfing, diving and sailing. Pwllheli's vibrant harbour town, just a short drive away, is known as 'the unofficial capital of the Llyn Peninsula' and every Wednesday it plays host to the largest outdoor market in North Wales.

There's a lovely selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes in the town as well as a fairground (mainly open during Spring/Summer), amusement arcade and art gallery. In the opposite direction, is the small, picturesque village of Criccieth.

Here you can find all the amenities you will need for a joyful stay including local eateries, the historic ruins if Criccieth Castle as well as paddle board and kayak hire. Slightly further afield are the breath-taking sights at Snowdonia National Park and the enchanting and romantic Italianate style village of Portmeirion.
