Beacons View Farm Cottages in Brecon, Mid Wales, offer a splendid retreat for large groups or multiple families. This complex of four restored cottages can accommodate up to 21 people, providing a perfect setting for gatherings.

Each cottage features attractive beamed ceilings and some exposed stone walls, adding to the rustic charm.

The cottages are well-equipped with modern amenities, including two hot tubs where you can unwind while enjoying breathtaking rural views. The largest unit sleeps eight guests and includes a sunroom, perfect for relaxing regardless of the weather.

The smallest unit, ideal for a family of five, offers a cosy lounge with a wood burner-effect electric fire.

For entertainment, there's a games room with table football, darts, and table tennis, as well as a children's play park. The outdoor space is equally inviting, with private patios, garden areas, and a mountain bike track.

You can also explore the surrounding fields and woodland.

Cantref Adventure Farm offers hours of indoor and outdoor fun for the whole family. Inside there is a huge soft play area with a separate area for toddlers as well as ball pools, climbing frames, slides and chutes. The Cannon balls are a big hit with children of all ages. New for 2010 is the Badgers quest interactive maze. Outside there is a play area, large boating lake with paddle boats, nature trails with clues and quizzes and an agility course. At only £29.00 for a family of 4 the park offers outstanding value for money.
Rhondda Heritage Park - CF37 2NP

Rhondda Heritage Park is located at the former Lewis Merthyr Colliery and is a popular attraction with a range of facilities including a visitor centre, an art gallery, a gift shop, and a lovely period re-constructed Village Street.  Fully guided tours are available and include multimedia presentations as well as a unique trip underground where visitors will experience the life of a coal miner. The site also boasts a children's play area and an underground experience zone.
Lama Trekking at Old king Street Farm - NP16 6AA

Lamas are gentle, affectionate and unique animals and Lama Trekking is fast becoming a popular family attraction. At Old king Street Farm you can spend the day with the charming creatures and enjoy feeding them, grooming them and having a stroll through the woodland. Lamas are not ridden but they can carry all the picnic essentials including tables and chairs! Lama Treks around the stunning Black Mountains are also available.
