Jordan
Such a beautiful place to stay, one of the nicest & prettiest places ive stayed in! !
Nicola
Beautiful accommodation, very well equipped with the little added touches a bonus. This really was a wonderful short break we thoroughly enjoyed. There was everything we needed, if we needed something we only had to ask. Would definitely recommend, and well worth a return visit.
Richard
This place is simply stunning. We turned up in the dark and the place lights up as you walk down the steps. We didn't get the full beauty of it till morning. We had a beautiful lemon drizzle homemade cake waiting for us and homemade mince pies. They have thought of everything you need. It is a working farm with cows chickens sheep but it was beautifully kept. We will definitely return. 100 recommend.
The most beautiful little cabin. I had the most amazing weekend away for my birthday. Super cosy had everything we needed. Hot tub was amazing the overall place was just incredible. The owners are lovely. Would 10000 recommend to anyone looking for a chill weekend away!

We stayed here for 3 nights and there isnt a single bad thing to say! The cabin was equipped with everything we needed and there was homemade cake, scones and jam waiting for us when we arrived! The area was very peaceful and the hot tub made our stay even better. We would definitely go back!

The property was absolutely amazing! The lodge was well built, keeping in the warmth and letting in loads of light in the mornings. Very clean, spacious and homely.
We found the wooden pod very inviting and welcoming. On our arrival we was met by the lovely owners in which nothing was to much trouble. The lovely homemade cakes and scones were a nice touch and was appreciated. Very comfortable stay and would definitely return

The retreat was beautiful and the wooden detail to the interior was lovely The accomodation was immaculate and the home made sponge cake, scones, honey and marmalade, were much appreciated along with butter and milk left in the fridge. The large hot tub was amazing and spa towels and footwear were supplied. It was private and we used it every day. Would definitely recommend this retreat for a relaxing break.

While there'll be plenty to keep you entertained an Honeybee Retreat itself, if you plan to get out and about and see some of what Norfolk has to offer, here are some of the nearby attractions you can enjoy during your stay. Please note that some of these activities and days out are paid and it's always a good idea to book in advance to secure your place where applicable.

Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 16 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 18 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 23 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Banham Zoo - NR16 2HE
about 26 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 26 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
