Really well presented and spacious property. Nice historic feel with mod cons. Plenty of facilities. Lovely outdoor areas. Nice owners with a warm welcome. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Would recommend to anyone seeking accommodation for large groups!

We had a great stay at Doves barn, communication was excellent prior and during the stay. We were 11 adults and 10 kids. The house is huge, the kitchen is well equipped, nice sheets in the bedrooms. The garden is so big we couldn't tell where was the end of it. There are a few games available for outdoor and indoor play as well. Thanks again for ha ving us - highly recommend it.

Our large group (12 adults, 3 infants) enjoyed the downstairs space in Dove Barn particularly. It was well equipped with glassware and crockery too so we weren't continually having to wash up. Plenty of interesting days out possible from this location.

We arrived on the 30th Sept for a long weekend with family, ages ranging between 3 to 78 and had an amazing time. There is so much space inside and outside. They supplied indoor and outdoor games which we took advantage of. Playing rounders in the large garden. The hot tub got the thumbs up from the younger kids. The kitchen is fully kitted out and even arrived to a lovely basket of treats. Tea, coffee and sugar supplied. Would highly recommend.

This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended. Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.

Colchester Zoo is a fantastic place to visit with something for all the family. Wander around and see the array of animals in excellent habitats. Don't forget to visit the Leopards at Ussuri Falls, this new expansion can be located opposte the White Tiger Valley and the Medellin Momkeys. Other popular areas of the zoo include Tiger Taiga, Chimp World and Wallaby Walkabout. Look out for special events throughout the year such as Shriek Week on Halloween. If you book tickets online you can obtain a discount of 10% and are also fast tracked on entry to the zoo - a great idea in the school holidays.

National Horse Racing Museum - CB8 8JL

This is a museum with a difference and a must see if you are into horse racing. You can take guided tours around the museum or choose to wander round yourself admiring the exhibits. New for 2010 is a Junior Fun Tour which is ideal for children. Simply ask the gallery staff for a Fun Tour pack when you enter the museum and kids can answer questions and spot clues and tips on the way round. We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals. Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.
