Wisteria Cottage Reviews

We had a lovely weekend break at Wisteria Cottage and the champagne chilling in the fridge was a fantastic gesture, which was enjoyed in the very nice hot tub. The accommodation was lovely and comfortable, with some high quality finishes and well equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The bathrooms and downstairs shower excellent and the beds were comfortable, with lovely high quality bedding and towels. Location was excellent for local facilities, the town and walks. The only negatives were no iron or ironing board and consideration of putting sensor lights on the upper tier of steep stairs probably not suitable for people with mobility problems. The cottage was clean but some areas such as floors, carpets and skirting boards needed further attention. However, the above did not impact on our most enjoyable stay and I would recommend this cottage.

This was a fantastic property which exceeded our expectations. My family needed a place to stay in Nantwich so we could visit my dad whilst at the same time having a base for some day trips in the surrounding area. The property is much bigger than we anticipated, being spread over many floors which were all very well thought out. Everything had been considered, from the fully equipped kitchen you really don't need to bring a thing, the huge TV in the Living room, easy to use heating, lovely bedrooms with clean bedding and comfy beds. There is a wood burning stove in the living room which we didn't use but certainly would have if we visited in the winter. We really couldn't fault it. Our kids had a wonderful time exploring the many different rooms and the staircases. There was a bit of an argument about who was sleeping on the top floor. It's a very characterful property which adds to the sense of cosiness. Other bonuses. There is a jacuzzi in the garden which our kids absolutely loved. There is a perfectly sized parking space at the front of the house. It is a quiet area and close to all of the amenities that Nantwich has to offer including cafe's, pubs, restaurants. We will certainly book again as it's ideal for us for visiting family and much better and less expensive than the local hotels and B&B's.
