We had a great few days here. The accommodation is really nice with a very well kitted out kitchen. Perfect location for exploring the area. Not too remote to get takeaways delivered and great pub just around the corner.

The cottage was beautiful inside and out. You are welcomed with a basket of goodies and a bottle of wine. The cottage was decorated and furnished to a very high standard and was very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped if you wanted a cosy night in or alternatively you could walk approx 150yds to The Miners Arms pub for a lovely meal and a relaxi ng drink. After a day's walking, you could go back and relax in the hot tub. The bedroom was beautifully done and the bed was really comfortable. 5

We had a very good stay. The village is stunning! Cottage is very clean and cosy. Excellent layout for bringing our dog. He was very safe in the downstairs section. Gates had been set up. Great for families but no bath so children would have to be ok with a shower. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

This unique attraction combines an array of activities. If you have a look on their website there are some good video clips which give an even better idea of what this attraction is all about. Some of the highlights include the Cable Car system which is actually Britain's first alpine style cable car system. You are transported from the valley floor right up above where you can enjoy superb Dewent Valley Views. You can also stroll around 60 acres of wooded hillside on foot to see an array of birds and wildlife.

Gulliver's Kingdome - WA5 9YZ

Gulliver's Kingdome is a family friendly theme park offering many attractions for children of all ages. The site is rather unique and features a huge array of rides including log flumes, roller coasters and pirate ships. For the little ones there are rides such as the veteran cars and the balloon wheel and Diego and Dora the Explorer are on hand to make sure they are having a great time. Between the 21st and 31st of October the park becomes a spooky Halloween spectacular with a range of shows and fireworks to enjoy. Standard prices are £12.00 for adults and children over 90cm. This is an all weather attraction located in Ilkeston Derbyshire. With a large play frame as well as bikes and ride on toys this is a fun place for young children. The toddler time sessions take place during term times on week days from 9.30am until 2.30pm and are very popular. The admission fee is excellent value for money and parents can sit down and enjoy a drink while the children play. A new baby changing facility has now been installed together with some new chairs making this a clean and welcoming attraction for families. Rosliston Forestry Centre is a beautiful woodland site with tranquil areas for Fishing as well as some beautiful meadows and a lake.
