Really beautiful spot. Very comfortable would stay here again
Sadly we did not sleep well as all the lights outside are left on all night and the window coverings are not adequate. Would be a nice enough place if fitted with blackout blinds.
A beautiful cottage, very cosy and comfortable and extremely well maintained by the owners Jo and Ian. We had a lovely week, lots of nice walks from the cottage and not far to drive to areas of the Peak District.
Really beautiful spot. Very comfortable would stay here again
Patricia
Perfect place for us to stay, great to get to Peak Dist. Ideal to get groceries in Alfreton and access to M1. Brilliant cottages, def want to return. Ideal visiting family nearby. I cant think of anything at all that would have improved cottage
Michelle
Beautiful place, we were made to feel very welcome Jo was on hand if needed but didn't interfere with your stay, we stayed here as a family fir Christmas week and Jo did it lovely with Christmas touches even left a bottle of pressecco, Christmas cake and plenty candles, the hot tub was a great toch and so was the log burner, there were logs fir sale right outside your cottage with plenty parking, we would love to come in the summer as the views and walks were beautiful.
Patricia
Gorgeous cottage, lovely hot tub, good dog walks on your doorstep. Right by a train line with trains every 20 mins or so, but we quickly got used to them.
Absolutely gorgeous barn conversion, the space worked really well for us with the two lounges so the kids had their own room and two bathrooms and the teen in his own side of the house. The kitchen is a good size, but we bbq and ate outside most nights. The private patio and dining area is excellent as is the communal bbq, lawns and picnic area. Theres a lovely walk or run down the lines or through the woods, the kids loved picking blackberries. Its a great location for days out we enjoyed lots of lovely walks, open water swimming and days out at Chatsworth and the heights of Abraham. Thank you for a lovely week we will be back!
Lovely accommodation in this lovingly restored barn. Had a brilliant time. Thank you.

This is a great little cottage, in an idyllic location. The property is really well equipped with everything you need, lovely comfy mattresses, and perfect seating area outside. Everything was spotlessly clean the owners were available but not intrusive. We would definitely look to book this again!

A beautiful cottage with high quality fixtures and fittings. As further improvement I would recommend grab handles for the steps down into the sitting room and kitchen for those like me unsteady on their feet. Also to secure to the walls the looped cords for raising and lowering the window blinds to safeguard young children. I hope that does not sound negative because we had a very relaxing stay.
The owners were there if we needed them but very discreet Absolutely fantastic property we loved it The photo on the site shows the gorgeous cottage and hot tub which is maintained to a high standard and is all brand new Imagine our surprise when we arrived . .its all actually beautifully fenced off with a pair of gates on the drive for your absolute privacy its stunning .Thankyou
The property has been done to a high standard and more than met our expectations. The hot tub is big and perfect to relax in at the end of the day. Thank you, we will be back.
We had a fantastic Christmas break. The cottage was homely and welcoming and tastefully decorated for Christmas. I was able to cook a 3course meal for 6 comfortably with the resources provided by the cottage owners. The owners were very helpful and friendly, enhancing a great stay. The hottub, easy access to some seasonal walks and well situated for at least 3 great pubs that we also ate at made for a wonderful festive stay. Thank you would love to stay again, in summer or for the winter holidays.
Fantastic location and cottage, definately will be back
A beautiful cottage. Very spacious and comfortable and in a lovely area with fabulous surroundings. Loved the hot tub. There is no dishwasher which wasnt a problem but is advertised with. We loved it and would highly recommend
Andrew

The hot tub was relaxing and clean. The owners Ian and Jo were extremely helpful and always responsive with any query we had. We have had a really excellent week.
William
