Little Lugg Reviews

Robert
We have had a wonderful week at Little Lugg, everything was very clean, inviting, warm and cosy, wonderful cup cakes thank you. We didnt want for anything! Although we toured the area we always looked forward to coming back to spend time in the hot tub each night, so relaxing regardless of the weather. Also Stephs recommendation for places to eat were really helpful. We hope we can come back in the future to this lovely find!
We had an amazing stay at Little Lugg. Cant fault it in anyway whatsoever, everything was excellent, there is a guest book with so much helpful information for your day. Owners have gone above and beyond to ensure you have all you need for your stay. Only thing we werent a fan of was the pub down the road Cross Keys Inn, simply wouldnt bother there is plenty of pubs in the town 1015 minute drive and there is a pub a bit closer called the swan which was amazing. Beautiful location, lovely and quiet but close enough to shops etc. Cant recommend enough we were really impressed with all aspects. Thank you to Jarrod & Steph for your wonderful holiday home! X
A truly beautiful and immaculate kept place just outside Hereford. Spotlessley clean and furnished to the highest standards. Everything you need to take a relaxing break. The hot tub is amazing ... a towel rail is the only thing I would suggest although they dried perfectly but draped over the kitchen stools. We visited Hereford foodshoppingcinema. Symonds Yat stunning, Ross on Wye, and by far the most stunning ... Ludlow. Recommended by the owner, it did not disappoint. Truly picturesque castle cafe was welcoming and the scones delicious. A must visit if you have the time. Thank you for sharing Little Lugg with us. Would highly recommend.
Elizabeth
A really well appointed accommodation with all you would need. The cupcakes were really nice welcome touch and it was clean and welcoming. It was really well looked after with all you needed to enjoy your stay. The hot tub was lovely to come home to in the evening and loads to do in the local area
Jessica
Amazing little cottage for a short break away. The accommodation is so cute, and the hot tub is absolutely amazing. The cupcakes on arrival were also such a treat and very delicious, thank you so much.
Beautiful cottage, in a lovely location, very peaceful and was ideal for a relaxing break away. Everything you would need was provided, and I would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere for a getaway
Jennifer
Fantastic cottage with everything you could need. Designed to a really high spec. Great to have two bathrooms to share as well and the Hot tub was a great way to relax after a day out exploring. Not far from the centre of Hereford with plenty of restaurents and lots not too far away to explore including Symonds Yat and Hay on Wye. Would throughly recommend and would definitely return .
Michael
This was a very comfortable and immaculately clean lodge and we very much enjoyed using the hot tub. The following additions would have made the stay even better Colander or sieve, egg cups, towel railhookscaddy in the shower room off the dressing room and a map showing local walks. It would also have been helpful to know that the nearby pub does not do food.
We have just arrived back after a weeks stay in Little Lugg and WOW what can I say it was perfect. If you want a location thats quiet and peaceful with relaxing in mind then this is the place to be. The place is beautiful and exceptionally clean and the little touches made it more special, thank you! We met one of the owners who was lovely and welcomed us and made us feel at home nothing was a problem to ask. We got lost on the way there and Step was quick to help us get back after arriving in town. Hereford town was a lovely place with lovely shops and nice restaurants to eat at. We also costed RossonWye again absolutely beautiful and a place Id definitely recommend visiting. Thank you for a lovely stay, were back home safe to say things on the relaxing side didnt last long! We will certainly be back for sure! Laura and Matt Xx

I had an amazing stay at Little Lugg. I cannot recommend highly enough. It was perfect! The property was incredible. It had everything youd need and was tastefully decorated throughout. The cupcakes and fresh milk were much appreciated welcome treats. I visited Symonds Yat Rock and saw peregrine falcons. I also made trips to RossonWye, Puzzlewood, Soudley Ponds, Hereford, Ledbury and Worcester. There were lots of nice places to eat within a short drive. Ponte Vecchio, a little family run Italian in Hereford was so good! I also visited the Kilpeck Inn in Kilpeck and The Baiting House in Upper Sapey. After a day out exploring, to return to the large hot tub, the private patio area, and comfy bed were just what was needed. I wish I could have stayed longer!
Stated the weekend with my partner,I have to say it was the most amazing place we been, you have your own space and privacy, nobody bothers you. Town not that far as well. Stephanie was so polite and helpful with everything. Palace is very clean also hot tub was amazing if I could give more stars I would!!!
Denise
A special place to relax and enjoy this beautiful county.
A very good and comfortable weeks break
Truly beautiful property. It was so well maintained. The hot tub was just what we needed to unwind in.
Beautiful place would go again
Jonathan
The cottage was lovely, very well furnished with a high standard of quality. The outside space felt private with little noise from the other properties. A great location for exploring the area and the owners were very welcoming and friendly. Will be adding the cottage to our list of regular places to visit.
Had the most amazing time. Was quiet and so peaceful, beautiful
Nicole
A fantastic place to stay, there wasnt a thing that wasnt thought about. We would highly recommend to stay
Lovely property. Very nicely done to a high spec. All facilities were great. Had a very relaxing couple of days away from kids just enjoying the hot tub and log burner and recharging. Definitely recommend.
Great place to stay at, this was our second time round in about 6 months. Brilliant countryside setting and the inside of the holiday home was immaculate both times. Added touches like cupcakes waiting for us on the table and fresh milk and orange juice really made it.
We popped and stayed a few weeks ago, we were 'super wowed'! Little Lugg is an amazing place for a break, everything has been thought about to ensure its like home from home plus a bit more. Overall cleanliness was exceptional and the under floor heating a real treat! Hot tub was icing on the cake for those don't have one at home! to ensure a relaxing stay. Deffo recommend, just brilliant!
Joanne
What an absolute Gem of a property! The owners should be so proud of what they have achieved with this holiday let. We booked very last minute and was amazed when we arrived, the owners even left us a little welcome gift thankyou very much. The property was immaculate and no expense spared on the fixtures and fittings. Stunning property in the Heart of Hereford with everything you need. Hereford has alot to see, with shops and restaurants and lots to do in the surrounding areas also. The Hot tub was fantastic even though it was raining it did not stop us enjoying the luxury! Will definitely be booking again for sure. Thankyou!
Little Lugg was simply perfect! The place was immaculate and had everything you could need there. The guest information book was super helpful with walk and eatery recommendations as well as instructions for all the amenities!! Which was really handy for the fire and the hot tub both of which were also awesome. Could not recommend enough, we loved how cosy and relaxing our stay at Little Lug was. The only constructive criticism I could think of is that it would of been nice to have a full length mirror in the dressing room but this is more likely out of personal vanity and not a necessity and an option for a later check out would of been nice to enjoy the cottage a little longer
Myself and my partner were so impressed with little lugg, everything was such good quality and we couldnt fault anything at all about our stay. we loved the touch of the guider quide as it gave so much information on how to use the hot tub, the hobs and so much more like where to walk and visit and places to eat! could not recommend this enough and the beds are so comfy! thankyou sykescottages for providing this gem
A very nice and unique property. Gave us everything I had hoped for from our stay for my partners birthday. It also ended up being the place I would ask her to marry me. So thank you
Graham
Little Luggage was in a beautiful setting, and well equipped for 2 people. The hot tub was great and outside area was very nice and the communal area was lovely. Jarrod was very helpful and had some good suggestions for places to visit. We would definitely recommend any of the cottages and would definitely book again if we are ever in the area.
Andrew
