We had an excellent holiday. The property was immaculate and very well maintained. The owners were very friendly and could not do enough for us. We were given a cake on arrival which was very tasty. The hot tub was well maintained and checked daily. We had everything that we needed and was exactly as we had been promised. The grounds were very well maintained and in excellent condition. It was a very quiet holiday and a great escape from life, We are more than happy to recommend it and we will be back. Thank You

We had a lovely stay with everything we could have needed provided within the accommodation . A friendly welcome and helpful hints on places to visit from our hosts was much appreciated. A good location from which to explore the local area with the benefit of having an excellent base to return to.

We ended up staying in the owners other property Tree Tops above Deer View. I would definitely recommend staying at one of these properties. The hosts were really accommodating and attentive. The cleanliness was immaculate, the bed was one of the comfiest Ive used, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was really peaceful as the property is on its own with no surrounding houses other than the owners. I liked the small touches, such as the homemade fruitcake and they went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. The lodge had games, a manual with places to visit, instructions for the appliances and we were lucky enough to spot some baby deer in the garden, which we could see up close with the binoculars provided. Thank you again for a really nice stay!
The accommodation was spacious, well equipped and located in a nice quiet rural location
Wow!! What can we say ? My wife and I really needed a quiet break for a couple of days after a very bumpy 3 months. Deer View provided the perfect place for us to spend some us time and chill out. Susan was the perfect host to us and on arrival showed us round. She was meticulous in her planning and management of her holiday let, right down to a big binder full of lots of places to go and things to do, her gift of her simply awesome fruit cake, to her cleaning regime, with the place truly spotless. All of the furnishings and utensils are brand new and are of quality, and not cheap rubbish as some do, showing respect for her guests. This part of England we are not too familiar with, is just beautiful and so quiet and peaceful, so ticked all of the boxes Our 3 nights and 2 days seemed to pass too quickly, but we would love to return.. A huge thank you John and Viv
I loved my stay and found the owners very helpful, friendly and accommodating! The property was just as advertised, if not better, would love to come back!

Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens - OX18 4JP
about 10 Miles
This has to be one of the most popular days out in Oxfordshire and is sure to appeal to nature lovers, animal lovers and keen gardeners.  Families and couples will enjoy wandering around this amazing park with a wide variety of mammals and birds to see as well as reptiles. Some of the most popular animals are the Burrowing Owl, Dexter Cow, African Pancake Tortoise and the Bar Headed Goose.  Check out their website for the latest admission costs and special offers.
Farmer Gows - SN7 8DA
about 16 Miles
Farmer Gows is a recommended attraction in the Faringdon area of Oxfordshire and will be especially suited to families with young children.  The little ones will love coming to see the farm animals including pigs, cows and lambs.  The meet the animals session takes place every day and includes handling the animals, walking the goats, feeding the pigs and cows and egg collecting.  Look out for special seasonal events throughout the year such as the Halloween Party, Lambing and children's workshops.  The latest news from the farm is that they have some Saddleback piglets and Speckledy chicks arriving shortly.
Pendon Indoor Model Village and Railways - OX12 8EA
about 16 Miles
This is an all weather attraction in Abingdon, Oxfordshire which will appeal to all ages.  The model trains are fascinating to watch and we love the model village in the Vale Scene.  The exhibits have been well thought out and it's a pleasure to wander around this museum looking at everything on offer.  You can be assured of a warm welcome from the moment you arrive and for kids and adults alike this makes a fun and educational day out.
Catanger Llama Trekking - NN12 8LJ
about 24 Miles
This is a really unique attraction and certainly worth a visit in our opinion.  Established in 1995 and situated in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside this attraction will appeal to those looking for something a little different.  You can't ride the animals but you can trek alongside them and enjoy the fantastic scenery.  From farm tracks to country lanes the gentle animals will carry your rucksack for you along the way.  There are personally guided treks available all year round and you will have your own Llama for the trek.
Studley Grange Garden and Leisure Park - SN4 9QT
about 27 Miles
Studley Grange Garden and Leisure Park is a fantastic attraction based in Swindon, Wiltshire.  For nature lovers and those who like to get out and explore this is the perfect day out.  It's also an all weather attraction with Butterfly World being part of the site.  Butterfly World is kept at around 85 degrees year round so this makes a perfect place to visit in all seasons. A visit to the Craft Village is also recommended where there are a wide range of handcrafted gifts.
