1 Beacon View Barn Reviews

Lovely converted barn, clean and tidy and had everything you needed. Very efficient communication before arrival. Was a home from home and would definitely stay again!
Lovely property with great views, the hot tub was a plus for star gazing. Dogs loved it too. Only downside was the grass could have been cut before hand but I understand it had been raining quite a lot so may not have been possible. WIFI cut out a few days after we arrived, however Lin was great and said we could use the empty property next door whenever we liked which was lovely of her to offer this. Welcome pack was a lovely surprise so Thank you. Would recommend to people looking for down time and lovely walks. Overall we had a lovely stay.
The property itself is pristine and a lovely place to stay, with one of the comfiest beds weve slept it! The views are beautiful, especially from the hot tub. The only suggestions we would have are 1. The WiFi can be rather slow but appreciate the location is quite far removed! 2. The ability to turn off the fence light the hot tub at night is a great way to see a starry night with the lack of light pollution, but the fence light diminishes that ability, and theres no way of turning it off that we could see.
We had a lovely stay here, so peaceful and such a lovely setting! Perfect base for exploring and walking, if you want to have a complete chill out, this is the place and the hot tub is a bonus

Lovely property, amazing views and so quiet and peaceful. Would definitely return. Very dog friendly and great walks nearby.
Absolutely stunning location, great views and hot tub. Would definitely recommend going and we can't wait to book again. Bonus,is there are some lovely walks from the door step. Quite far from shops but if you go prepared your set for your holiday. Teddie the cocker spaniel, loved the enclosed garden, whilst the humans where enjoying the hot tub. If your thinking of booking, just do it you won't be disappointed.
Alison
The perfect place to stay if you are looking for down time. The barn is so comfortable, the views are just fabulous. We will definitely be back.

Lovely cottage Lovely welcome pack Great information prior to arrival Prompt reply to a problem with the TV Couldnt fault any of it . Thank you
A great holiday in a superb location. 1 Beacon View Barn is a spotlessly clean and comfortable bungalow set in a gloriously remote and rugged valley. Relaxing in the hot tub after a day's walking was a huge pleasure. Happy to report that the shower is also very good. The property's isolated location is blissfully quiet, but it does mean you'll need a car for the 'local' shop and excellent nearby pubs. We enjoyed some great hill walks right from the door and also further afield. Lin and James were very accommodating hosts and the welcome pack was much appreciated.

Beautiful property , so spacious and clean , kitchen had everything ! Great additions such as dish washer and washing machine . Hot tub was superb ! Quite away from everything but that suited us fine ! Definitely be back and booking was just so easy .

What a lovely place to stay for a long weekend! Thank you to Lin, she was a great host!
Awesome views. Incredible attention to detail. Stunning walks. Simplicity at its best. A little slice of heaven!

Great accommodation that was clean, modern and had everything that was needed for a self catering holiday. It was set in beautiful surroundings and waking up to wonderful scenery and sounds of sheep was great. Our holiday was at the end of Novemberearly December and we were lucky that the weather was wonderful and waking up to a sprinkling of snow one morning was lovely. Sitting in the hot tub on cold evenings was an added bonus and on our last night sitting in it while a heavy snow blizzard was happening was delightful. We arrived after Storm Arwen which caused a few problems with the power but we were kept up to date by the owners who were lovely and sorted out a few problems which were caused by the power failure straight away. All in all a lovely holiday and will return for another stay.
Lynette
It was set in a lovely peaceful area. Everything you needed was there.
Love,ly place to stay ,great view,s across the vally ,while sitting in your hot tub, Lin the owner very friendly, very helpful. Some lovely walking in the area even from your front door. Dan the dog loved it too Love to go back Thank,s Lin

I don?t normally write reviews, but this place defiantly deserved one. Amazing holiday from start to finish..the views from the hottub were like no other. The whole barn was well equipped with everything you needed. Even a little box that you can buy things from! So thoughtful. Not much to do around the area but if you drive out you can find little beauty spots! I will 100% be coming back here, just the best place.
Fantastic holiday from start to finish. Couldnt fault this place at all the hottub was amazing, the views were amazing. The place was so well equipped with everything you needed. Will 100 be coming back. Just the most amazing place to be.
The property surpasses all expectations. Is in a setting that cannot be conveyed via description or photograph. Property is extremely clean and modern and so comfortable. Owners met us on arrival after road closures made us very late and they were so friendly all week. Such an enjoyable stay.
The 1 beacon view was very relaxing with amazing views, nice and remote with hottub on the patio with sunshine from rising until 7. 30 at night, bbq supplied and all fenced in so you could let your pet roam free and relax. Everything you need is provided in the barn so just bring your shopping or get it delivered then just relax.
Roxanne
We had the most amazing few days here. Everything was better than we expected, even when it rained one day it didnt stop us enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We could not fault it. We will definitely be back.
Claire
We had a wonderful time the barn was cozy and comfortable, with gorgeous views. The hot tub was an amazing treat, and perfect to watch the sunrise and sunset from
Lynsey
Lin and James are the perfect hosts. All your needs are catered for at the barn. The views are spectacular and the barns are of an exceptional standard. I wouldnt holiday anywhere else now!
Edward
A well maintained and equipped holiday accommodation in a pleasant part of Wales with good walks to the local towns and villages. Not too far from larger towns to do shopping or just to visit. The hosts were very helpful with our sons medical needs and equipment, and the little extras of tea, coffee, wine and flowers were very welcome after a long drive. Thank you for a great holiday.
Perfect, just so perfect
This was our 2nd stay at Beacon View barns, we?ve got our 3rd stay booked for next week, our 4th booked for May and our 5th booked for Christmas! It?s safe to say we love this place, it?s perfect in every way! The barns are so beautiful, well equipped and safe for our dogs. Lin and James are the most perfect hosts and go above and beyond to make your stay memorable! No amount of words can describe how amazing this place is, I want to recommend it but I?m worried that people will book all the dates and none will be left for us Can?t wait for our stay next week ??
The pictures really dont do the place justice, and when we got stuck in with the floods the owners couldn't have been any more helpful than they were, a truly fantastic experience and we will definitely be back.
The barn was a lot more than we expected and the facilities were excellent. Could not of asked for anything more in this property. The views are unbelievable and the only thing you hear is the sheep which surround you. We was welcomed by fresh flowers, a bottle of prosecco and fresh eggs which was a lovely touch and not expected.
Graham
We had the most lovely Christmas at 1 Beacon View Barn. The barn was outstanding, hot tub amazing and the owner's were great.
Lovely location and beautiful facilities. It was a fantastic relaxing weekend even with the rainy weather.
Jonathan
We had a really great stay here for a week during the October half term. The cottage is plenty big enough for a family of four, clean and tidy. Fantastic views out over the valley with great walks straight out of the front door. It is a very remote area so be sure to stock up on supplies from the supermarket, which is a good half an hours drive away. Great communication with Lin and she was very helpful
Absolutely loved our stay, the most beautiful barn with stunning views. We hope to come back soon!
Kerryanne
Had a fab time views were amazing and got a lovely welcome package of flowers and Prosecco
Charlotte
Cottage was just perfect and exactly as pictures advertised. We loved sitting in the hot tub looking at the beautiful scenery. A very peaceful location, the perfect place to relax. Welcome pack of Prosecco, Milk, Eggs, Flowers & doggy treats was a lovely thoughtful touch. Comfortable beds and comfortable reclining sofas. We had the perfect relaxing weekend and wish we had booked for longer.
The owner was so attentive to detail. She even took note of the comment from the occupants immediately prior to our stay, by replacing the 2 damaged settees straight away! The welcome goodies were very much appreciated especially by our 4 footed companion!
Angela
Had a very relaxed and memorable break at beacon view barn. Cant wait to go back!
