Amazing views with the lovely animals all around the area. The property was lovely clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable and every was just perfect. The owners were lovely and friendly.
Angela
A lovely and relaxing week with a stunning view to wake up to and see during our stay with many sheep and cows on the farm. Appreciated being able to leave our main luggage at the property ahead of checking in. A small point but for feedback a non stick frying pan would be useful for cooking the eggs provided from Lin's chickens.
The place was in an isolated spot but very beautiful views. It had everything you could have needed to spend tranquil time and recuperate. The scenery and atmosphere was very calming and the owners caring and attentive. The welcoming gifts added a nice touch. Loved the hot tub very relaxing. A wonderful four days with some lovely memories. Thank you.
Michelle

Really good place to stay, 5 of us went on a lads holiday and really enjoyed the amazing views and the hot tub, great walks and amazing little village with post office not far away, nice and quiet. Could recommend more
Really enjoyed our stay here. Property was clean and warm. Kitchen was very well equipped. Hot tub was nice and clean. Garden was well enclosed for the dog. Would recommend this place!
A perfect getaway and the barn was above expectations, as were the welcome provisions from the owners. The location is quite remote which is part of its charm.
Daniel
Loved our stay here! Very peaceful and brilliant facilities.
Absolutely loved Lin the owner, such a warm and friendly welcome. The gift pack was very thoughtful and much appreciated and a great start to our holiday. The location was perfect and the barn a welcome retreat after sight seeing all day. Definitely recommend 100 a relaxing get away from it all holiday.

Property was as described. Nice atmosphere and very peaceful. No reason not to come back again soon
U would definitely recommend this wonderful place to stay. It has everything you need for a perfect retreat get away. Hot tub soothed away my. Aches and pains. My dog loved it too.
We had lovely week away. The accommodation was of a good standard, the kitchen was very well equipped, the welcome pack was good and was nice to have things like dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid. Hot tub was great and a lovely view from it. Lin was very helpful and quick to answer messages. Only thing that was missing was a chest of drawers in the twin room, there was the cupboard for hanging clothes but no shelves. Had a lovely holiday.
Amanda
The cottage was perfect and the view was amazing. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Was very interesting to hear about their farming. Fantastic holiday. Would definitely highly recommend.
Amazing place, beautiful location, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, hope to return one day
Just what we needed... Perfect
These barns are beautifully restored to cozy modern home from homes. The view is stunning each day when you open the curtains it takes your breath away. There's great local walking and lots of local attractions if that floats your boat. We were just delighted to walk locally with the dog and get back to the hot tub. The property was sparkling clean, and had everything you need to cook should you wish to, underfloor heating keeps the property warm and the shower even though it's over bath is a proper rain shower - simply lovely.
Andrea
This is a beautiful barn in a stunning location. The views are spectacular and a real escape from everything. A lovely family run the barn and are on hand if you need anything. Hot tub is wonderful and looked at every day by the owners. Lovely walks available from your door step and lots of information is left all Covid friendly in the barn on arrival. We also had a fresh bunch of flowers, Prosecco, eggs and dog treats awaiting for us on arrival which is a lovely touch. Would not hesitate to recommend this property we loved it.

The cottage was exceptionally well equipped and included everything you might need, it was furnished tastefully and was a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay in the beautiful Welsh countryside.
Mini moon stay
Perfect ! After our wedding at Oxwich bay this was the absolute perfect location to spend a weekend, the place was spotless, views were amazing. The barn was loaded with everything, all you needed was yourself and food. Definitely finished off our wedding perfectly. Lin the owner was amazing, communication was excellent, she even called over on our last day to warn about floods in a near village. A special place for andrea and I and we will be returning.
Holiday Review
We have just returned from a fabulous family week break at number 2 beacon view barns. It was simply outstanding!! The views of the Welsh mountains were stunning and the hot tub on a cold winters day was wonderfully warm and relaxing. We couldn?t have asked for more from Lin or her husband James as they were very helpful and couldn?t do enough for us - especially when we encountered a little problem with our car and they put us in touch with someone who sorted it with kindness and generosity. The Barn came with everything you would need for a peaceful self catering break, and the little touches such as fresh eggs, flowers and a bottle of Prosecco on arrival were a nice surprise indeed. Many thanks to Lin and James for supplying such a beautiful holiday home from home. We will definitely be looking to return in the near future. Diolch
Amazing weekend, the converted barn was incredibly clean and well presented, it was positioned perfectly overlooking the hills. It catered for everything, all you needed was food, drink and yourselves. Lin was amazing, clearly giving us directions how to get there and even laid out a bottle of Prosecco, chocolates, flowers and a card when she knew it was our mini moon. Thank you so much. Definitely a special place for us now and we will be back.
Alison
The barn we stayed in was everything we needed for a family weekend away. The barn is spacious and clean with stunning views.
With wo kids and a dog we had a lovely Christmas break at Beacon View. Peaceful and relaxing with all creature comforts plus added extras. The hot tub After a day of walking was heaven. Definitely recommended
Outstanding! What a little gem of a place! The Barn exceeded our expectations. Every last detail has been thought of for all you need in a holiday home, everything was high quality, from the towels to the cutlery. The area is breathtakingly beautiful, tranquil and peaceful. I cant put into words how beautiful the stars were at night! The barns are perfect for an escapism holiday, you dont realise how much you need it until you have to leave! Cant wait to return! X
Superb place to relax, unwind and get back as one with the world!
Very clean and comfortable, owners were very friendly.
Alexandra
Me and my husband have spent holidays throughout the UK with other holiday let firms, but the property we have just stayed at was by far the best we have ever had the good fortune to spend our vacation. The property itself was modern, bright, and clean with everything we needed from the welcome pack to the luxurious hot tub that had a view to die for. Our hosts, Lin and James, were so welcoming and friendly and went that extra mile to ensure our holiday was enjoyable. A little gem!!
Rebecca
Lovely remote, peaceful location. Welcoming and helpful owners. Very clean, modern, well equipped barn. Great to have the enclosed garden for kids to play and dog to roam.
Beautiful kept cottage by Lin and James and they could't have been more welcoming. There were flowers, milk, eggs and prosecco left for our arrival. There is a local pub about 10 mins drive away that serves good food. The cottage is not near any town so having a car is essential but if you want the peacefulness of the countryside then this the place. Hot tub is a great bonus too. The cottage is kept spotless by the owners who maintained the hot tub during our stay. We could have very easily stayed another week here, we will definately be returning.
Melanie
A mixed review from us. The barn, the view, the cleanliness and equipment provided were absolutely excellent! The hot tub was a lovely bonus! However, there are some negatives from our experience. The flies in the house were an absolute nuisance! Despite keeping everything crumb free they were still everywhere! I know it is near farmland, etc. But it was still not nice. The other negative is how the patio seating area has been done. There is a fence between the next rental barn but if both families are enjoying the seating or hot tub there is very little privacy and if you are unlucky enough to get loud neighbours it isnt pleasant sharing a small space. Sorry for the negatives because overall we had a fantastic and relaxing time and the barn is stunning.
Excellent property set in a lovely location. The property has been tastefully converted to a very high standard and was spotlessly clean. Very quiet and chilled out place. No cars, no light pollution, no people and limited mobile phone signal which was great, back to the good old days WiFi in Barn. If you are after a very relaxing place, away from it all nearst town a 30 minute drive away, pub with food 15 mins drive away then I would highly recommend this property. We will definitely be returning.
A secluded modern cottage with excellent facilities and great views.
Jacqui
What a fabulous place this is. So beautifully done, nicely furnished and tasteful decor. The underfloor heating, for those not lucky enough to have it in their own home, is such a luxury and meant the barn was comfortably warm all the time. The hot tub really sold it to us, sitting out under the stars contemplating the universe what a way to spend an evening. You cant beat it. Time to put those phones away and actually chat to those around you! It is set in a remote location but that makes this even more special. The neighbours are sheep, pretty much in every direction. The bleat of the lambs carrying over the valley. If youre after somewhere to totally kick back and relax, this is it weve had a wonderful time and would thoroughly recommend it.
Andrew
An absolute gem of a cottage. Clean, comfortable, well equipped and so peaceful. Beautiful, out of the way setting with stunning views. We look forward to returning next year.
