Lovely place to stay, well equipped kitchen, the best we've stayed in. Perfect location and comfortable. Would definitely stay again
Absolutely loved our stay at Ley Feild Farm, stunning house with beautiful furnishings with lots of original features just amazing. Theres nothing they haven't tought of, kitchen well stocked with everything you will need for cooking and cleaning, even dishwaser tablets and washing up liquid. Washing machine, washing tabs, tumble dryer, towels for use in hot tub and plastic cups. Toys for littles one to play with and ample outside space to play. Surrounded by stunning views, just wonderful. Do not hesitate to book this place. We can't wait to return.
WOW we were all blown away by this beautiful house . So warm and cosy when we arrived . we stayed over Xmas and the house was so thoughtfully decorated with such lovely touches . Spotlessly clean and well stocked for a family or just 9 adults I would highly recommend x
Probably the best and most beautiful place we have ever stayed in. Could not fault anything. The pictures do not do it justice!
Michael
We really enjoyed our stay, the house was very well equipped and was decorated with Christmas decorations which was a very nice touch. We highly recommend stay here.
Lisa was a wonderful host, she went above and beyond to decorate for my wife's 40th Birthday. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the Victoria Sponge cake, Lisa's mum made. Honestly we couldn't have asked for a better experience . Many thanks James and George
Excellent. Very clean and cheaper.
Camille
Lovely house perfect for families. Loads of space for little ones and great garden. Owners really helpful, would highly recommend
Heather
We spent a week at the farm with family members ranging from 3 to 75 years. The location was ideal, rural and peaceful with lovely views and yet near to towns and places of interest. The house itself was extremely well equipped and spacious, allowing comfort for us to be together and quiet spaces to be private and, in some cases, connect to work with wifi. There were toys for the children to play with, room in the garden to practise football skills and the hot tub was also enjoyed by some of the party. There was good cupboard space for our food in the kitchen and the large fridge freezer accommodated all the items brought from three families. Our host was pleasant and helpful and we could not have wished for more. We also appreciated the generous welcome pack which we found on arrival.
Absolutely spot on! Right down to the smallest details they've nailed it! Wonderful welcome package with the most amazing homemade cake!
Sharon
This was our second visit to Ley Fields farm so that is a huge inidcator as to how much we enjoyed our first stay. This second stay did not disappoint either. The property is spotlessly clean and extremely well maintained. It was clear that the owners take excellent care of the property. Lots of room for a large family like ours it would also suit one or two famillies together. Lovely outside area clean, daily maintained hot tub, grassy area and newborn calves in the next field! Lots of privacy, space and excellent facillities. Aall furnishings and fittings were of an excellent standard, extremely comfortable beds and sofas. Will be back again! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we rent holidays houses a couple of times a year and this is truly the best one we have stayed in. Very pleasant and helpful owners caretakers, polite and friendly communications and a lovely welcome basket on arrival our children were fighting over the last slice of home made cake!
Cheryl
Fantastic property! Loads of space, yet a really homely feel. Especially the kitchen area, where we seemed to spend a lot of our time. Fantastic hot tub area and garden too. Just what we wanted for our hen weekend. Thank you so much x
Stanley
This is a lovely, comfortable house, in its own grounds, with a smashing childfriendly garden at the back hot tub great looking out onto fields. We were 8 in the party with 2 visitors one day for lunch but it never felt cramped. It is extremely well equipped and the owners seemed to have thought of everything. Family of the provider live on a connected farm and were hospitable and attentive but not intrusive. This also meant one little glitch was handled rapidly and efficiently. Only slight negative was that walking into the countryside meant a few yards along a fairly fast road outside but this was negotiated on several occasions without any problems.
Frances
Ley Fields Farm was perfect for our party weekend! Lisa even put up special decorations for us, thank you for that. The beds were really comfy, the house was spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the hot tub was excellent! Everything has been thought of separate towels and plastic cups are provided for the hot tub. The welcome gifts in the kitchen were a lovely touch too. Thanks again!
Eileen
Stayed 7th 11th April. What a amazing property. The property was perfect although we never took advantage of the hot tub it was available to use. There was plenty of room for the 8 adults and 2 young children. Our 3yr old granddaughter loved being out in the garden and playing with the toys supplied lovely thought A big thank you for the goodies on arrival cake went down a treat The owners had decorated the house for Easter which everyone loved. It was a perfect get away and will be recommending it to family and friends.
Absolutely fabulous. Wonderful house, benefits from 2 lounge areas both with TVs so no arguments over wanting to watch different programs. Fantastic kitchen with everything you need to cook, American fridge freezer so plenty of space for the week's food that we had preordered. Hot tub well maintained and checked daily. Hosts friendly and helpful. The home made cake and courtesy items on arrival were an excellent surprise and delicious! The little touches like the Easter decorations showed how much care and pride is taken in preparing the property for guests. A perfect place to stay, especially with our mix of 3 generations of family.
Suzanne
This is by far the most comfortable, welcoming and spacious Sykes accomodation we have stayed in. A homely home from home indeed. The welcome pack was very much appreciated as was every thoughtful addition to make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. I had informed Lisa the owner, our grandson has a very severe tree nut allergy before arrival and she kindly ensured every product used prior to our arrival and within the property was completely nut free. This is no mean feat as many many products do contain some kind of nut product. The level of thoughtfulness for our grandsons safety and the enjoyment of our long awaited holiday was exceptional. We would definitely recommend Ley Fields farm house 100 and will definitely book again in the future.
Fabulous house. Hot tub overlooking the fieldssheep. Lovely touch of hamper and home made cake on arrival. Pleanty of parking for multiple cars. Hosts available for an issuesquestions. So much space to spread out. Would recommend this property to families or as we were a group of friends having a chill out holiday.
We all really enjoyed our stay at Ley Fields Farm. Lovely welcome on the kitchen table on arrival including homemade Marmalade and Victoria Sponge cake. Very private location but the owners are never far away should you require assistance. Lovely rural setting providing great access to the Staffordshire Morlands and the Peak District and the small market town, Cheadle, is less than 2m away for your groceries and takeaways.
Lovely spacious house in a nice location. Very well kitted out with a nice welcome pack on arrival. Hot tub was a nice addition too. Would book this property again.
We honestly couldnt fault this property, everything was perfect. We came to celebrate Our Twin Sisters 50th Birthdays and we had a wonderfully weekend even though we didnt have the weather , The owners who lived on the farm were perfect hosts. All the homely touches We couldnt have chose anywhere better. Everything we could possibly need was available. It was absolutely spotless. The welcome pack was very much appreciated and the home made cake was delicious. Lisa even left a bib and a packet of baby snacks on the high chair for 8 month old Elsie. There were toys for Ivy aged 3 who really enjoyed playing with them all in the Big House. We had a wonderful weekend break and would definitely recommend this Beautiful Farm House. Thank you.
Could not fault anything and brilliant communication. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay just a pity on the day we left lovely blue sky !
Beautiful house with everything we needed, hot tub was fantastic. Delicious cake and groceries left by the owner which was most appreciated. We had a wonderful stay thank you.
Sharon
What an absolutely beautiful house! This is clearly a much loved family home and I can totally understand why the family just couldn't let it go. It is picturepostcard beautiful and every detail was considered Christmas decorations, welcome pack, hot tub towels, roaring fire, garden blankets and cosy snug. As a group of 7 lifelong friends, we ate 'Christmas Dinner' in the beautifully preset dining room and it felt very special. Thank you for a much needed relaxing weekend lots of memories were made and the house played a big part in that. We'll most definitely be back.
Beautiful property owners very friendly. We didnt want to leave!
Rachel
What a lovely holiday home, wonderfully comfortable and lovely hosts that were really helpful. Great location and we had an amazing week. Thank you X
Joanna
Amazing hosts, such lovely people! The house was well equipped, plenty of bathrooms and gorgeous garden.
Sharon
Wow, what a house, we had a blast. Clean, well stocked, in a beautiful location. Owner was a star and helped when required, even checked when not neededunintrusivly. Lots to do within the house and ofc not far to the towers. Hottub gives 100 privacy. Forgot a couple of wee bits and they were sent back, so, points for aftercare. Next time we ho to the Towers, this will be our no1 choice.
Such a great place to stay. Everything we needed was right there in the property. The host was fantastic, providing a warm welcome and helped us settle in. Great little touches to really make our stay a pleasant one. Thanks!
Ley Fields Farm was the perfect place for our first family holiday since 2019. Three generations enjoyed the excellent indoor and outdoor facilities, and we were all truly sad to leave. The little extras were much appreciated, and the owners could not have been more helpful. As my granddaughter aged 3 pointed out This is the best holiday home ever!
A stunning property, clean and beautifully presented, as pictured, with all the amenities required for a short break. Lots to do on both sunny and rainy days. The indoor and outdoor games and toys were an added bonus which were enjoyed by both adults and children. The hot tub was fabulous and used daily, even in the rain! We loved the garden and fields, the cows visited often which the children embraced. We felt safe and very relaxed. The perfect location if you fancy venturing out theres lots to see and places to visit, or simply stay in and relax. Our holiday mission was accomplished. Thank you to Lisa for a warm welcome and generous welcome gift. We hope to be back soon.
We really liked the house it had character and was very well equipped. The hot tub was relaxing after walking in the surrounding countryside during the day. You can listen to all of the birds in the trees or listen to music through its builtin bluetooth speakers. The welcome pack was nice. We especially enjoyed the fresh eggs and the cake, although as there were only two of us we never managed to eat it all Very friendly owners. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Lovely big farmhouse full of character. We were a group of 7 adults and there was plenty of space which meant we didn't feel on top of each other at all. The family live next door and were very friendly and welcoming and were very quick to respond to our queries and also checked in with us, without interfering, as to how things were. They also gave us advice as to places to walk etc. The property backs on to fields and the cows were very inquisitive and great to watch. The garden is a good size and we had space to both relax and play a bit of football and badminton! The hot tub was thoroughly enjoyed and very welcome after our walks. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed and there was a lovely welcome back of provisions and a homemade cake which was thoroughly enjoyed. All the rooms were a good size, and the bedrooms had very comfortable beds. The main bathroom was of a high standard and looked to have been recently refurbished. The 2 ensuites were small but had what was needed and, like everywhere, were very clean.
Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ley Fields farm, we didnt want to leave! Couldnt complain about any part of our stay, the owners were friendly and helpful whilst also giving us the privacy as if being in our own home. The house was well equipped and well maintained. The property is surrounded by fields and was the perfect getaway from city life whilst only being a 5 minute drive from Cheadle village supermarkets to grab anything we needed. The hot tub was in great condition and was kept to a high level of cleanliness. The house comfortably fit 9 adults and had a large driveway which could fit more than 4 cars its fair to say we will definitely be returning! Huge thanks to Lisa and Robert!
Charlotte
Ley Fields Farm is such a lovely place to stay a really spacious house for 2 families with very comfortable beds, a great rainfall shower and bath in one of the en suites, spotlessly clean and with brilliant facilities all round. The kitchen is very well equipped and the hot tub was amazing. There were such nice extra touches too lots of indoor and outdoor games for families and the welcome tray with wine, chocolate, farm eggs and a homemade Victoria sandwich cake was so thoughtful. This is such a beautiful part of the world too with incredible scenery such aa Thor's Cave and The Roaches. Near to Alton Towers too which our teens appreciated. We would love to visit again and had a brilliant holiday.
One of the best places we have stayed as a group! The house is beautiful, rooms are spacious and clean. The welcome gift was greatly appreciated and enjoyed! In terms of what was provided in the kitchen and for use outside in the hot tub.. The best we've ever had! Made our stay very enjoyable and we will be back! Thank you!
We had a wonderful stay and the owners bent over backwards to make sure we enjoyed it. The house is spacious and it was clean Im very fussy!. The welcome goodies were a lovely touch. Thank you!
What an excellent place to stay! We arrived to see a lovely welcome package on the kitchen table, with a home made cake and local marmalade such a lovely touch. The owner communicated well, so any arrival instructions were perfectly clear, and they maintained the lovely hot tub daily so that it was always at the perfect temperature and lovely and clean. There were general items in the kitchen, such as cling film etc which really make the difference as it means you dont have to bring every single tiny item! There were towels provided for the hot tub too, which also reduces packing! We had such a great stay and will absolutely be staying again. Thank you x
