Dairy Barn Reviews

Michelle
Cosy and warm, greeted by a fantastic package of fresh bread, eggs, milk and the most delicious brownies and chutney too! This cottage has everything you need, along with a comfy bed. We had good weather having left Suffolk in floods sunshine most days. Beautiful walks and a tasty Sunday lunch at The Bell, then back to relax in tbe hot tub... didn't want to come back to reality! Would definitely return!

We had a great stay at Dairy Barn, this was the second time to go there . Lovely welcome pack on arrival, hot tub great and really comfortable.
Many things provided like bread, milk, eggs and homemade chutney. Shower excellent. Easy chair in lounge a bit worse for wear but settee comfortable. Guides on local attractions comprehensive as were instructions for log burner etc, but no mention of the under floor heating and whether it was adjustable.
Alison
Had a great stay at the Dairy Barn good position to visit local attractions. Had every facility you could ask for and the owners Sue and Roger were so friendly and helpful. Barn was surprisingly spacious and had lovely rural views. Didnt use the hot tub but that was our personal choice on this occasion.
What a beautiful cottage to stay in. Very comfortable and quiet. Perfect bed and mattress. Loved the hot tub outside to get either the sun or look at the the gorgeous evening skies. Many thanks to Sue and Roger for their hospitality and the welcome gift of homemade bread, chutney and local apple juice. Will hope to book again whenever we are visiting Worcestershire, Stratford or the Cotswolds.
Joanne
We loved our time at Dairy Barn a peaceful setting. A well equipped cottage. The highlight was the hot tub. And we appreciated the welcome pack Thank you.
Superb location. Very comfortable property with everything you need provided. Lovely welcome items upon arrival. Hot tub a nice luxury.

We enjoyed our stay at Dairy barn, it was just what we wanted for exploring the local area. The property was clean and tidy and had everything we needed.
Could not fault it. .for us it was perfect retreat..we don't live far away so did not want a long drive somewhere for a two night stay ..felt like we could of been anywhere..it was lovely and hope to return
Robert
Good clean accommodation with a welcome pack as well . Lovely views all around with horses in the meadows behind the property. Sunsets over the hills as well. Miles of countryside walks from the property. Lots of places to visit nearby.
A great stay in a fab quiet location. The lodge was very cosy and we made full use of the hot tub. The complimentary food and drink were scrummy and appreciated. Our hosts were very friendly and approachable. The lodge is ideally situated to explore the Cotswolds. We would book again.
Connor
Amazing property, very clean and cosy, the hot tub was excellent!
Charlotte
Absolutely lovely little cottage. Amazing home made brownies and soda bread on arrival. The hot tub was fabulous. So peaceful! Perfect place to unwind for the weekend. Would definitely stay again.
Stephanie
We absolutely loved the Dairy Barn! It was just fabulous. From the lovely welcome goodies to the home comforts in the cottage, it has all the ingredients for a cosy weekend away. The Dairy Barn had everything you could possibly think of, fabulous views from the hot tub overlooking a paddock with beautiful horses. We had the best weekend and will defiantly be returning. We cannot recommend this lovely little place enough
The cottage is in a great location and has walking straight from the door weather permitting. There is a small garden with views and a hot tub cant comment on that as I didnt use it. The owner leaves a welcome pack including bread, chocolate brownies and eggs. Although, the kitchen and bathroom has many things there for you including bathrobes one thing you will need to bring is a toilet roll.
Beautiful cottage in a lovely location, everything essential nearby. Sue and Roger are very friendly and greeted us with brownies, fresh bread, eggs and apple juice. The cottage was lovely inside had everything we needed and more. Hot tub was really nice overlooking the horses in the field behind. Thank you both for helping us as we were leaving we discovered we had a flat tyre, Roger pumped the tyre back up for us and we were off I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to relax.
Lauren
We had a really nice and relaxing visit to the Dairy Barn, it exceeded our expectations and would definitely recommend and visit again perhaps in the summer! The Woodburner was amazing and kept us warm and toasty. The hot tub was our main reason for booking and it did not disappoint. As other guests have said we were greeted by fresh eggs, loaf of homemade bread and delicious brownies! Great hosts!!
Caroline
Very comfortable and relaxing.

Would recommend the dairy barn, nice quiet location, good accomodation, the hot tub was lovely, the hosts were very nice. On the other hand will never use Sykes Cottages again. When you type in your dates Sykes website seems to set it to or 3 days by default, which I failed to notice at the time. We asked for saturday to saturday and was given friday to friday which we didnt see until we got the confirmation. We phoned Sykes immediately within seconds and they truly couldnt of cared less, their only solution was to book another week at another 527 to get the saturday checkout. When we got to the accomodation it would of been no problem as there were no other bookings. So, be careful you double check when you book you have the dates you asked for.
We have just had the most peaceful weekend possible our only neighbours were horses. As a property Dairy Barn was faultless and we are definitely going to go back there.
I could not recommend Dairy Barn highly enough. Sue and Roger were very welcoming, the location was perfect and we will certainly be back. Leo and Jake

We loved dairy barn the moment we stepped through the door. We had booked a few days away just the two of us for over Christmas and felt so at home. There was a real Christmas tree and lots of goodies for us to enjoy. The underfloor heating was amazing and the hot tub was a luxury edition that we made sure we used everyday. We loved our week in Dairy Barn and cant wait to go back.
Roger and sue brilliant cottage outstanding could not fault anything
It was as they said a very comfortable well equipped and very relaxing, only met ... It was as they said a very comfortable well equipped and very relaxing, only met Sue who was lovely, will be coming again Steve from herts Sept 2018
This really is a home from home, we have just spent 4 nights here. When we arrived we were greeted by Sue who is so lovely, she showed us to the cottage where we had a lovely surprise of delicious homebaked brownies, freshly baked bread, freshly laid eggs, local made apple juice and chutney and even milk in the fridge along with coffee etc. After a walk and dinner at the local pub, 1015 minute walk, we came back to the cottage to use the hot tub, even though it was raining a little, the water was nice and hot and we relaxed after travelling most of the day. The cottage has everything you could need and it has been well thought out. The bed was a very comfortable sleigh bed and I slept so well, I woke once or twice listening to the silence, I have never been anywhere with no noise, an amazing place to relax after our stressful jobs.

Had a lovely stay at Dairy Barn would highly recommend
The host was very welcoming and also Nigel the cat was an added bonus
The barn was in a very peaceful setting and we'll equipped
Angela
Excellent holiday! Home made Brownies, bread, fresh eggs and milk to greet you. Can't praise it enough and will definitely return
Robert
Lovely accommodation, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Lovely warm friendly welcome from the owners, definitely will return
Shelby
Very relaxing and homely, great place to go if you want to relax, but also pubs and town a 10 minute drive away. Owners were very helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed, would definitely go back.
Arriving to freshly baked brownies and bread and home made jam was a brilliant introduction to the Dairy Barn, Cropthorne. As some places we've stayed are only equipped for overnight stays, we appreciated that Sue made sure that the Dairy Barn was well stocked with essentials for a longer stay. We loved that the place is down a quiet lane overlooking the hills and fields and enjoyed the company of Nigel and Nigella cats and visiting the cows in the barn. Thank you Sue for your warm welcome and friendliness.
Lovely cottage, quiet, relaxing and in a beautiful area. We will definitely be booking again.
