Platform 3 Reviews

This is a lovely cottage in a great place with lots of that are good but it also has some faults. Mattress & bedding were not very good and bedroom was a bit small and the bathroom light came on in the night if you needed the toilet. We will come back again but this time book the sleepers suite and hope for better
Had a great stay in this lovely property. Lots of places to visit within easy reach. The hot tub was brilliant and we enjoyed waving to the passengers on the passing trains, and the station as they got on and off. The only down side was not getting the keys till 5pm on day of arrival and having to vacate by 10am on day of departure.
Beautiful accommodation, in a great location. Owners were very good with keeping in contact with us and providing relevant information.
Absolutely gorgeous property, 100 coming back in the future! Had the most lovely time!
We enjoyed our stay ! We will return
Quite simply the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. Communication was excellent and the property is perfect in every way. Everything you need is supplied and the original features make this truly memorable. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax and the balcony gives you the opportunity to watch the world go by. 5

The property is as described and the owners very attentive. The property has been imaginatively developed from the former station masters house and all the space used to the full. The design is 'quirky' with the hot tub on the platform, the entrance hall floor made of resin coated twopenny pieces and an ancient farm engine mounted in the roof space with lots of GWR memorabilia, and of course the trains stopping immediately outside. We loved it.
George
The property is fitted to the highest standards and whilst the ensuites are small everything fits. The balcony was a real bonus as the weather provided the opportunity to have breakfast whilst watching the trains go by. The location is good and its a short walk into Great Malvern or two minutes on the train. A great place to stay and unwind, especially if you have a railway interest.
Lee and Chloe are excellent hosts, friendly and informative. A beautiful quirky, property with all the amenities you need. Relaxing and comfortable. A perfect location for exploring on foot or by train. There is a small fee for parking 1 per day, 4.20 for the week, very reasonable.
Michelle
Lovely property with everything you'd need. Clean, comfortable and homely. Hot tub close to the platform which is a little weird at first but you soon forget about it relax and enjoy. Surrounding area is beautiful with so much to see and do. Link station is a real bonus.
Fabulous property beautifully restored by owners Lee and Chloe. Brilliant location on a train station but trains were not that frequent loud to disturb you. Be aware parking limited and you will need to pay 1 a day4.20 a week cash only. We stayed as a couple and whilst two bedrooms felt this fine and may have felt little cramped with more guests, should be fine with children. We are looking to return next year but perhaps to one of the neighbouring properties
Chloe and Lee were excellent hosts. The kitchen facilities were so much better than we could have hoped for. Super oven, great dishwasher and a washerdryer that made life easy, The ensuites are actually wet rooms. The terrace overlooking the train station was delightful. We're definitely going back sometime.
Lovely place to stay. Thoughtfully converted. Nice places to visit nearby.
Lovely, quirky cottage on Malvern Link Station. Train noise is kept to a minimum however, and the surrounding area is lovely. Bedrooms are a little small, but finished off to a very high standard.
Oliver
The cottage was finished to a high standard and the decor was beautiful. The cottage owners communicated extremely well and were very accommodating. Highly recommend
Joanne
Wow what a fantastic house. The attention to detail is amazing. We really enjoyed the hot tub. So funny when trains pull in at the station. Ideal location. We will definitely be returning.
Could have done with a facility to air dry our towels. Otherwise fantastic
Denise
Loved the accommodation, owners really nice, took time to come and speak to us, everything quality in the property, everything beautiful, situated right by the station. Had a lovely time. Would not hesitate to return back to the area, special thanks to lee and Chloe for a fantastic holiday!
Kathryn
What a brilliant place to stay. ... the attention to detail is second to none and Chloe and Lee have clearly gone to a lot of effort to make the Platform 3 accomodation comfortable and interesting. This was a great place to stay. We initially had thought that it would be noisy with the train platform right beside the flat, but in fact it was quieter than at home. And it was brilliant to be able to watch the trains going by from the hot tub! Very enjoyable stay!
Platform Three is very well thought out holiday cottage. It makes the best of the space this historical building provides. Lee and Chloe have done an excellent job on the conversion and their approach to meet and greet is helpful, warm and genuine without being intrusive. The trains added to the experience, especially when in the hot tub. The position in Malvern Links is central to outlining towns and villages and only a short walk to the nearest place to eat or drink. If you want to go further a field have a glance at the train timetable. The current situation with covid meant that we mainly stayed in the cottage and enjoyed a break from the world. This means that we will have to return to take advantage of the delights the area has to offer, when the world turns more normal! I was lucky enough to have a quick tour around the Twisted Chimney and Sleeper Suite, in between bookings, while there. Both are very different but have that attention to detail that wows. We will return but the issue will be which part of the station house to stay in! All equally nice but each offering something slightly different. During conversations with Lee regarding the conversion, how it was achieved and future plans, it is obvious the station's three lets are more than that to both Lee and Chloe. Both are passionate about providing an excellent holiday venue and it shows. Thanks both, see you as soon as situations allow.
Absolutely loved our first stay at Platform 3. Arrived on my sister's birthday for a few days rest and relaxation and we were not disappointed. Love everything about the design of this house...Chloe and Lee have done a great job. I stupidly over ordered groceries before I came and had to bring a load of fresh food. I cooked 3 nights and the high spec kitchen had everything I needed. Used the hot tub every day and loved it. Arrived and left by car but didn't use it throughout our stay... just hopped on the train for visits to Worcester and Great Malvern. We will be back!
Had a lovely stay at Platform 3! The location was great for exploring the Hills and Worcester too. The accommodation was very clean and had everything you needed, the finish was of a high standard with the added bonus of both a balcony and a hot tub. Still felt very secluded despite being on the train line too
Debbie
We had an amazing time here! Loved the property, lovely modern design and it had everything we needed. My son especially liked the hot tub, we like the fact that it is kept so clean, watching trains from a hot tub is not an experience you get to have everyday! Lee and Chloe are great, Lee the owner helped us with many recommendations of places to go and places to eat. Highly recommend this place to anyone.
Nicholas
What an amazing place! ! We both knew we had found somewhere special when we found this place on sykes, and special it was. It is a unique experience. We stopped in Platform 3 and we enjoyed every second we were there. We both loved opening the balcany doors in the morning and seeing the passengers on the platform waiting to travel to wherever they were travelling. Being someone who loves trains this place was just perfect. We were both slightly anxious about using the hot tub with it being so close to the platform but as it turned out nobody could care less. Even when the trains pulled up right next to the property, people just walked past as if it was something that happens everywhere. The owners Lee and Chloe are delightful and will do anything to help you. It is a place that should be experienced at least once and if you love trains then dont look any further than this place. We will certainly be back. Thank you so much Lee and Chloe
Robert
Very nice place but bedrooms and bathrooms very cramped. No welcome pack on arrival one did arrive later after enguiring . No shaver point in bathroom. Expensive considering these issues. Fun and querky with the hot tub visible from the station platform.
Excellent property, exactly as described, great facilities.
Deborah
We came to Station House needing to get away from it all for a few days, and we achieved exactly that. The photos on the website dont do the property justice in our opinion. Its truly stunning. Lee and Chloe have exquisite taste and flair which shows in every room, and from every angle. Please dont be in any way put off that the property is on the station platform. The train noise is not a hindrance in any way, and the locals must be used to people getting in and out of the hot tub as nobody batted an eyelid! Were delighted that we chose this property and hope to be back again soon. Thank you.
