Gorgeous house which is furnished beautifully. Amazing views and garden. Really relaxing stay, we had good weather which was a bonus. Stanhope is only a few minutes drive away and has everything you need and a lovely river walk and stepping stones. Lovely Italian in Wolsingham, 15 mins away. Would recommend taking mosquito spray to keep the bites t o a minimum as it's near the river and later afternoon evening they like to come out. Would definitely recommend this house.

The hottub is really nice and our labrador loved the garden. So much to see and do locally in this outstanding area - high moorland, waterfalls, fishing, really nice small towns and villages. Great lights everywhere too but bear in mind no blackout blinds in the bedrooms so take an eye mask. Lovely walks on your doorstep, great little pub just 10 mins walk away. Walk into Stanhope is lovely a long the disused railway track, High force waterfall was a lovely day out too
