We had a lovely stay. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable. You have to drive to get to pubs etc as it would be a long walk and the road is pitch black at night. But apart from that we cant complain we had a lovely stay . Thank you

The location was good, only a 9Read more minute drive into Keswick. We will be telling all our friends about this place! Hide

A wonderful location and luxurious cabins perfect for a romantic getaway. We had a lovely time and you are surrounded by the lovely area with plenty of nature to soak in and a hot tub to soak yourself in after. Sharps edge was a perfect cabin for the two of us, clean and well kept with a great powerful shower and a hot tub to rest those aching feet after a days walking. The views are beautiful and we both would recommend as a romantic getaway. The small kitchenette allowed us to have a fry up!

Hannah
We had a brilliant time, we have stayed in many pods but this was by far the best! Homemade treats left by the host and it was so comfortable and clean. We would recommend to anyone!
Debbie
We loved everything about this pod. It was extremely clean, comfortable and amazingly well equipped for a compact space. The attention to little details made our stay extra special - thank you for the scones, gingerbread and milk! The location is beautiful and peaceful, but within easy reach of Keswick. We enjoyed walks around the nearby lakes of B uttermere, Derwentwater and Ullswater. The site was ideal for a dog. The weather was terrible, so we were very grateful to have such a cosy base!
Franca
Fantastic pod, stunning views. Really well equipped. Good heating. Very well thought out out.

Ullswater Steamers - CA11 0US
about 6 Miles
This is an award winning Lake District attraction and they have been operating cruisers on Lake Ullswater for over 150 years.  There is no better way to explore the lakes than on water and you could even combine a cruise with a spectacular walk.  For great days out in this region then this attraction is highly recommended and will appeal to couples as well as families.  Corporate groups are also well catered for.
Lake District Wildlife Park - CA12 4RD
about 8 Miles
We love this day out in Cumbria where you're encouraged to "take a fresh look".  Some of the amazing animals you will get to see include the only Canadian Lynx in the UK and you will have the opportunity to help their Lynx Conservation Project.  The Asian Fishing Cat is also well worth a look - these cats are known for diving under the water and catching fish!  Other activities include fantastic flying displays and play areas for the little ones...
Rydal Mount & Gardens - LA22 9LU
about 11 Miles
Rydal Mount & Gardens are wonderfully situated between Lake Windermere and Rydal Water offering breathtaking scenery. The home of William Wordsworth from 1813 - 1850 the grand home is now lived in by the poets descendents but parts of the house and grounds are open to the public. Why not take a guided tour and see the rooms where many of the famous poems were written. The gardens are beautiful at all times of the year but in the summer offer a spectacular display of colour. There is also a gallery and a tearoom. Discounts are available for group bookings.
Tullie House Museum & Art Gallery - CA3 8TP
about 20 Miles
This is a museum and art gallery in one and will suit those looking for an educational and cultural day out.  You can explore the fantastic art collection including Fine Art, Decorative Art and Textiles.  If you love nature then this aspect of Tullie House will appeal. The museum holds large and important collections of zoological, botanical and geological material. And for lovers of history there is plenty to wet your appetite here. Tullie House collects a wide range of historic materials including objects, ephemera (printed material), photographs and associated information files.  We think this museum and art gallery are excellent value for money as well.
