Such a gorgeous cottage! So clean and welcoming. A lovely hamper was left for ourselves and the pooches. The children enjoyed all the extra board games. The nice little thoughts of extra towels, fluffy blankets and a few provisions go to show how thoughtful people can be! Thank you for going that extra mile for our holiday!
What an absolute gem. A clean cosy and comfortable cottage in a perfect location with lots of extra touches. Fire prepped ready to light logs to burn treats left for us and the pups thoughtful and kind extra touches. The hot tub was lovely and has a warm summer house to relax in. Stunning location and lots to explore.

We travelled to Northumbria with my parents for a long weekend. The cottage is beautiful with everything we needed. The hot tub and garden were perfect for enjoying the outside after a day out by the coast. Super dog friendly too! Loved everything about it and would definitely return.
Jennifer
Beautiful cottage, and really enjoyed our stay here. Lots of room, lots of nice touches when we arrived dog welcome pack, Prosecco, etc, which was very much appreciated.
What a fantastic cottage. Everything you need and more. Set in beautiful countryside near to a working farm. Enjoy the hot tub and summer house set on the edge of a lovely wood, as you listen to the plentiful bird song and watch as the many different species fly from tree to tree. Take a stroll along the quiet country lane. Cast your gaze over the fields as you walk under the mature trees and watch as rabbit, hare and deer enjoy the quiet evening sunlight and if you're fortunate, you'll get to watch the sadly endangered Common Redstart singing proudly in the hedgerows and ancient oak overhead. The cottage is immaculate and lacks nothing. Couple of pointers take care of the tap in the ensuite or you'll end up with a wet surprise, and use the WiFi code on the router, not in the welcome info, as this has errors. NB. There is a local pub Queens Head in Glanton closed Tues and Wed for drinks but you'll have to travel a little further for pubs offering food.
Beautiful spot in the Northumbrian countryside, house was immaculate and furnished to a very high standard. Very comfortable stay, we will be back!
Elizabeth
A superb cottage finished to a very high standard and wellequipped to make you feel at home, complete with hampers for both the guests and dogs. Situated in a lovely rural location surrounded by cattle, sheep, and wildlife, both the national park and the stunning coastline are within easy reach. The only slight negative is the enclosed garden is off the shared driveway and not the cottage. I would highly recommend this cottage.
Andrew
Great rural location, so peaceful and relaxing. Very comfortable cottage, very clean and modern and the welcome pack was much appreciated.
Vanessa

Stephanie
Lovely property! Only thing I would say is would recommend in putting a shower in the bathroom, as there is only one in the en suite at the moment. Lovely welcome pack upon arrival and all decorated lovely throughout

Cragside House and Gardens - NE65 7PX
about 6 Miles
Cragside House and Gardens (National Trust) are a popular Northumberland attraction with a beautiful stately home and gorgeous grounds to explore. The rhododendron labyrinth is a unique and fun addition to the grounds and there is also an adventure playground where children can let of steam. It is the stunning scenery that attracts most of the visitors though with many bringing a picnic for a relaxing family day out. The house itself hosts exhibits which change regularly. World of the Water Wizard is currently on display.
Alnwick Castle and Gardens - NE66 1NQ
about 8 Miles
Alnwick Castle and Gardens today are perhaps best known for their roles as Hogwarts in Harry Potter movies but have for many years been a family favourite attraction in Northumberland. The beautiful medieval castle is open to the public and during school holidays and at Christmas and Halloween a range of activities can be enjoyed including Santa's Workshop, a Pumpkin Parade, Spell Making Lessons and Owl and Bird of Prey Flying.
Go Ape Northumberland - NE48 1NT
about 25 Miles
Go Ape! has really taken off and become one of the most popular attractions in the UK.  The Northumberland course is set in the stunning grounds of Matfin Hall.  Described as a high wire forest adventure this really is one for the more daring as the course takes place right up in the tree tops.  Giant tree top obstacle courses include ladders, bridges, tunnels and some of the country's best zip lines.  You will be provided with all safety equipment and training on site.
Conundrum Farm - EX5 3AQ
about 27 Miles
With easy access from the A1 this lovely farm just north of Berwick makes a fantastic family day out.  Follow the farm trail and meet an array of friendly farm animals.  Kids will also enjoy the indoor and outdoor play areas, pet barn and tractor circuit.  The admission fee is excellent value and you will get a free bag of food for the animals and a bag of fish food for the trouts in the fish pond. When you want a bite to eat, the licensed restaurant is the place to go with quality home cooking and a charming location in some of the converted farm buildings.
Kielder Water Bird of Prey Centre - NE48 1BT
about 29 Miles
Housing the most fascinating collection of Birds of Prey in the North East this centre is definitely worth a visit if you are staying in the Kielder Water area. Located in Falstone it's easy to get to and makes a great day out for both families and couples.  As well as seeing the amazing birds you can learn all about the captive breeding programme and the excellent work being done there.  Some of the highlights of the day might include watching a Falcon stoop down from the skies at over 100mph and admiring the grace of the Eagles, Kites and Hawks.
