We had never been to Yorkshire before and didn't really know what to expect. The lodge was superb with absolutely everything needed for the perfect holiday. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The main bedroom having it's own on-suite is ideal when you have additional family you. The hot tub is so relaxing after a busy day before settling down to watch the Tv which has Netflix. Yorkshire has so many wonderful places to visit that we are hoping to return to see many more
Alan

Heather Louise
I have stayed in many lodges in the UK. Mollies Lodge is the best equipped most comfortable I have ever stayed in. It is a real home from home. The location is perfect. Television in the bedrooms is a wonderful touch. I am recovering from abdominal surgery and to be able to lay in comfort and watch TV was just perfect. Many thanks Jo and Paul. Im v ery sure that I will stay again in the future.

The lodge was very comfortable modern, with large open plan living area. It has everything you will need for a perfect stay. It was really nice to get in the jacuzzi. We had a wonderful holiday and this was a perfect place to stay in.
Angela
This lodge is easily the best place I have stayed in the U.K. (and I have stayed in some great places) it was immaculate had everything you could possibly need for a very relaxing holiday, complimentary Dolce Gusto machine with a fabulous selections of pods and some lovely biscuits (Thank you) It was so comfortable of an evening and cooking a meal was a breeze as there is plenty of equipment etc the best bit for me was the hot tub WOW! Although it wasnt particularly private.
Julie
The lodge is beautifully equipped and felt like a home from home. All facilities were great and the surroundings are very peaceful. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, providing useful local information prior to the start of our holiday. I would thoroughly recommend this lodge.
Rachel
The cabin itself was of a nice standard. Apart from cleaning issues and towel rails not working to dry the towels it was fine. However, we had the neighbours from hell next to us. We did bring this to the owners attention but it was not resolved. We had no choice but to go out everyday to get rid of the noise and return at tea time. We could not re lax. This dampened our holiday. The owner of next door chose to let them stay to our disappointment.
Kris
We had an amazing holiday - the location was absolutely fantastic just outside of Bridlington. The site is very peaceful and the lodge was perfect. We had an amazing weeks holiday here and absolutely recommend staying here.
Christine

Catherine

Claire
The lodge itself was lovely. Everything we could need was made available. It was warm, clean and spacious. I'd recommend the property but not the loaction in it's current state.
Katherine
Mollie's Lodge was absolutely wonderful in every way. It's so comfortable and homely, spotlessly clean and really well-equipped. The hot tub was a bonus and the whole family loved it. The location is convenient for Bridlington, Flamborough and other places along the coast, with more than one beach in walking distance, yet the lodge itself is in a q uiet location. Definitely highly recommended!
Lesley
Mollies Lodge could not be faulted. Excellent clean lodge with so many extras provided. Close (5 mins walk) to Sewerby Hall. Lovely surroundings. We would highly recommend this Lodge and plan to return (the first Lodge weve ever decided to re-book).
Nicola
Beautiful lodge, clean & comfy, fully equiped, will definitely stay again and would recommend to all.
Janet
As lovely as ever. Complete home from home with everything you might need for your stay there. Light and bright and spacious. So many places to visit including local pubs and restaurants. Owners are always available if you need to contact them and very friendly. Will be booking again.

Betton Farm Visitor Centre - TF9 3PS
about 16 Miles
Betton Farm Visitor Centre is the ideal attraction close to the North Yorkshire coastal town of Scarborough. This animal farm has all the cute farm animals you would expect to see and will appeal to younger children especially.  A great place to both play and learn we think the Betton Farm Visitor centre is great value for money.  Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs.  Some of the highlights of the day might include meeting Sofie the Shetland Pony and Henry the goat, as well as the pot bellied pigs called Porky and Hammy.
Peasholm Park - YO12 6QQ
about 16 Miles
This attraction is ideal for sunny days as the beautiful park is ideal for wandering out and taking in the scenery.  You can hire boats including rowing boats and canoes to enjoy the views from the water.  The pedalos with the dragon heads are always a popular choice too. Look out for special events including the Battle of Peasholm Park Naval Battle which has been described as a "must see".  You can also take a ride on the North Bay Railway which will delight children.
Scarborough Sea Life and Marine Sanctuary - YO12 6RP
about 17 Miles
If you are enjoying a lodge break in the Yorkshire Moors and Coast then a day trip to the Scarborough Sea Life and Marine Sanctuary highly recommended. This centre is one of the regions most popular attractions and is educational as well as fun. Visitors will enjoy a journey beneath the waves, meeting many strange, beautiful and fascinating creatures of the deep. As well as mighty sharks and beautiful rays guests can get up close to some more common creatures including star fish and can also meet the otters, seals and penguins at feeding time. The site also has children's play area and picnic tables as well as a restaurant and souvenir shop. Family tickets cost £46.80 but the Tourist Information Centres in Scarborough, Whitby or Filey often offer fantastic discounts.
Sea Life Marine Sanctuary - YO12 6RP

Located in the Scalby Mills area of Scarborough this makes a fun family day out for those who are interested in marine life. The fantastic ocean tank is well worth seeing - it's been transformed into a Turtle Reef and you can see an amazing array of colourful reef fish and coral. You may also catch a glimpse of the tropical sharks and turtles. Offering good value for money this is a day out with a difference and an all weather attraction.

Flamingo Land - YO60 7EW
about 27 Miles
Situated in Malton in North Yorkshire this has to be one of our favourite family days out.  It's a theme park and zoo all in one stretching over a massive 400 acres. With thrilling rides for the very daring like Cliff Hanger, Corkscrew and Kumali, there are also more gentle rides for the little ones such as Frog Hopper and Helitoys.  Family fun attractions include the 4D cinema, the lost river ride and the Little Monsters Den of Mischief.
