Peaceful , quiet location . Clean and comfy cottage with all ye need. The hot tub after a day walking ( Malham Cove for eg) was pure bliss . The owners couldnt be more helpful with instructions , welcome hamper, and quickly sorting any issue . Great spot to drive around the Dales and Yorkshire top spots. Deffo going back !

What a delightful little cottage. It is beautiful, clean, very comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. The owners really have thought of everything and it is very obvious they care that you have a great stay. The hot tub was an amazing treat after busy days exploring the area and the hamper a lovely surprise and very generous. There was even a treat for our dog, who had an amazing holiday too. Had a lovely relaxing stay here it's super quiet we had the pleasure of birds singing and fabulous views. The hot tub was a great just relaxing and watching nature was just what we needed. The little Den was very cute and the hamper was outstanding we appreciated it so much. Had many walks with our dog Winnie she loved it We had a drive to Harrogat e it's only 10 minutes away and ilkley we had a great lunch there too. Great hidden Gem in the center of the countryside.

Loved the cottage and the location in NIdderdale. It was wonderful for our dog. She had room to run round outside, although we were a bit worried about her getting out of the grounds. Good walks nearby for us and her The wood burning stove was easy to light and the supply of wood generous. Heating the cottage with this worked well We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and the Betty's hamper was an amazing extra with delicious content. Yummy!

We had a fabulous stay at Poacher's Den. On arrival we were blown away by its lovely location. On the top of a beautiful hill with great views of the countryside. Situated in a secluded spot in otley, it felt private and peaceful but easy access to all local towns. Spacious grounds with alot of thought gone into the amenities provided. We were welc omed to a lovely hamper filled with goodies and our doggy loved his welcome surprise too. Hot tub with great views and cozy nights with the log fire.

This is a lovely little cottage in a beautiful location. Unfortunately the gorgeous view can only be seen from the small gardensnd not from inside. The floor to ceiling windows view onto the greenery on the fence! Very convenient for visiting Ilkley; Harrogate and nearby dales. It is a lovely place to relax as it is very peaceful!

Poachers Den is the perfect, peaceful get away for two. We booked a last minute Easter break in the cottage and we couldnt fault it. The furniture, decor and land around the cottage are just perfect. A real gem in a lovely location. Furnished to a high standard with a lovely log burner that gives it a cosy feel. Smelt lovely when we first walked in and the most wonderful welcome pack plus fresh flowers really did make you feel at home. Very well equipped kitchen with ice in the freezer, coffee machine with pods and plenty of cleaning products. Lovely bathroom and great shower. Large sunny bedroom, king size bed and plenty of storage. We had a fabulous week walking and will stay again.

Nature lovers will be in their element with an abundance of wide open spaces to explore and there are special guided tours for families. Some of the highlights may include seeing wild deer and bats during your visit. The grounds are fantastic to wander round but there is also an Elizabethan Mansion, Victorian Church, Georgian Water Garden and the finest example of Cistercian Abbey ruins in the country - Well worth a visit!

Lightwater Valley - HG4 3HT

Situated in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire this popular theme park makes a fantastic day out for the whole family. The more daring will love the big and thrilling rides such as Raptor Attack, The Ultimate and Trauma Tower. For the little ones there are some excellent attractions such as Flying Camels, Dodgems and a Magic Wheel. Toddlers will like the Dragon Boats and the Lightwater Express amongst other things. There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too. If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.

Xscape Castleford - WF10 4TA

Located in the Castleford area of West Yorkshire this is a fun family day out with loads of activities under one roof. For the energetic there is a real snow slop for skiing and rock climbing walls. For the more laid back then there is a cinema and bowling alley. This place caters for all ages and there are seasonal events on throughout the year too. This attraction is described on their website as the "Ultimate Entertainment Destination " so why not check out their site for the latest admission costs and opening times?

This is a recommended day out for families with young children visiting the Bedale area of Yorkshire. Visit the farm and receive a warm welcome as well as a guided tour. This all weather attraction caters for toddlers and children up to 12 years old with a huge array of climbing equipment, ball pools, slides, chutes and adventure areas. Adults can relax and enjoy a coffee and a snack while the kids are having fun. The site also has a large and rather impressive outdoor area with pet zone and pedal track with Go karts. There is also a pond with fish and a sensory zone where children can touch and feel new and interesting things.

A day trip to Stillingfleet Lodge Gardens is the perfect way to relax with several gardens to explore in the grounds of a historic farmhouse. The gardens were established 30 years ago and each has something different to offer. Expect to find dramatic displays of foliage and flowers as well as beautifully landscaped areas. Families will enjoy the woodland which leads to a wildlife pond and a beautiful wildflower meadow. The site runs morning courses in gardening throughout the summer which are priced at just £12 and include coffee. There is also a nursery onsite where plants can be purchased.
