The Old Corn Store Reviews

Cosy well equipped cottage. Storm Isha hit during our visit so unfortunately we had to hunker down and didn't have chance to use the facilities, nor walk to a local pub. Area is quite hilly so probably need to be reasonably fit to walk back up from Keighley. Hot tub is quite exposed. Enjoyed a reasonably sheltered walk around Ogden reservoir.

Lovely converted barn, very cosy, good amount of appliances, very warm and cosy stay!

The Old Corn Store was the first holiday myself and my husband went on together when we had only been dating a few months and this visit was our 2nd stay at the property for our 2nd wedding anniversary! . We received a warm welcome from the hosts bubbly, milk and biscuits was a lovely touch and very welcome after a long drive from Scotland! The cottage is lovely amazing views, hot tub and has everything you need for your stay. It was also fun to see the animals on the farm there are often helpers around on the farm so just ask them and they are more than happy to let you visit the animals. Only gripe would be that we were waaay too warm the first night however, my husband spoke to the hosts the following day and turns out there was another thermostat hiding behind a curtain that we hadn't seen problem solved! Only other thing I would say is that the road leading to the farm is very potholey and could do with a repair. This cottage is ideal for couples and a dog we took our little dog with us too. Recommend going to the moors for a walk. Also recommend going into Haworth we actually spent most of our time there when we were out. A few dog friendly eateries worth a mention Haworth Old Hall owners are a delight and very tasty food, the Hawthorn amazing steaks from charcoal grill, The Fleece Inn yummy pies. Also worth popping to the chocolate shop in Howarth and picking up a box of their signature salted toffee and coconut oil truffles shop is not dog friendly but the lady working there is lovely. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we cannot wait to return again! Nikki, Joe and Snoopy x

My fianc and I had a lovely staycation with our dogs at the Corn Store, it was just what we needed. Amazing views, great hot tub and a great base camp close to amazing towns, villages and pubs.
Such a gorgeous property in a beatiful location wish we had booked to stay longer !
Our stay was enjoyable and relaxing. The views were stunning. Animals a bonus. The only downside was the access road to the property. That said we would happily return.

Our stay at the old corn store was lovely! Its a great base for exploring and seeing and hearing all the animals is such a bonus. If you dont like waking up early then bring ear plugs for the cockerel! The hot tub was so enjoyable after a long day walking and the bed was really comfortable. Wed love to stay again!
The property was lovely clean bed very comfy bathroom very clean overall will recommend to friends and family. Very good view from patio over the hills and onto the estate very good working farm

A really lovely place to stay warm, comfy & with everything you needed including coffee, tea, milk. Added bonus with the hot tub. Stuart was really helpful suggesting a lovely nearby pub for a drink & food. Would definitely recommend the Old Corn Store for couples to stay.

Beautiful cottage, stunning views, lovely hosts, great location and getting to interact with and feed the animals was a real treat. Relaxing and peaceful surroundings and the hot tub was wonderful . Nice walks and just a short drive to Haworth. Highly recommended

We stayed here for a new year break to get away and relax after a busy festive period and was just what we needed. Cottage was warm and cozy inside with great views over the hills into Keighley, and the hot tub was an added bonus. Jo and Stu the owners let us feed the animals with them which was a great experience. There were Alpacas, donkeys, goats, a pig, peacocks and even some wallabies. Unfortunately the front door broke due to the high winds on the first day however Stu was straight out to fix this and was very understanding. This did not spoil the holiday at all. What a great place and would definitely come back .
We had a great time. The hosts were lovely, the place was clean and bigger than we expected. Lots of lovely animals around the place which the hosts will introduce you too. A lovely walk down the hill into the town, very doable in wellies. We also took the steam train across to Haworth which was great! We will definitely be back!

We were really happy with our stay

The holiday home was lovely and exactly as it stated in the description and from the pictures. The holiday homes are on a farm with lovely views. However, right outside the holiday home was a caged Rooster which woke us up at 4.30 every morning. The hot tub lid was broken meaning it was difficult to move and the owners came knocking twice to tell us the same thing about this, disturbing our dogs. Each morning around 7.30 the owners checked and topped up the hot tub levels, great. But then proceeded to walk straight in front of our holiday home which was all glass doors to get to the next holiday home, instead of walking back around, once again disturbing the dogs and causing them to bark meaning we got absolutely no chance of a lay in and also not much privacy.

A lovel quiet stay apart from the cockrel! Which was just what I needed. Calm and peaceful. Lovely owners. I'll definitely be back
We had a terrific holiday. Loved the location and everything about the property. We would love to come back some time in the future as we have such fond memories of our time with you.
Andrew
Wonderful stay at this pleasant location. Great to see the assortment of animals around us really loved the early morning wake up calls from the cockerels !! All in all it was great few days relaxation for us and a great base to explore the surrounding countryside.
Great little getaway which was perfect for us just wanting something different. The surrounding area didn't have much to offer for us personally but we we're already planning on heading out further afield in the day time so it wasn't much of a problem. Great little assortment of animals on site too
We had a lovely break at The Old Corn Store. The cottage is very clean, wellequipped and warm even with a howling gale and torrential rain outside! Its in a great, dogfriendly setting with glorious views, and the hot tub was very efficient and enjoyable. The only slight negative is the long, rough track down to the property but overall its a great place and highly recommended.
Very nice place, very quiet, surrounded by hills, birds and animals
Lovely property, warm with very comfortable bed, plenty of dvds for rainy days or moments of chilling. A bathmat as you get out of the shower would be useful as you exit shower onto tiles but this would mean more laundry too. Hot tub and views were amazing.
Danielle
We absolutely loved this stay away. The hosts couldnt have been more polite and welcoming and the stay was beautiful with amazing views and lovely animals.
Christine
This was a return stay for us. We love it! Peaceful, warm, cosey and the views are beautiful! Many thanks, we will be back!

We can't fault our stay in the old corn store. Clean, comfortable, Fantastic views, lovely area and a peaceful setting. Will definitely return.
The accommodation was very good and the hot tub was lovely. There owners did everything to make us feel welcome Prosecco and flowers on arrival. Lovely views from accommodation and seeing all the animals on the farm. Would have no hesitation to visit again .

No everything was great
Had a lovely stay great views from our little holiday home. Good facilities on site and we made full use of the hot tub.
Daniel
We have just returned home from a much needed weekend break here at the old corn store and we have had a truly fantastic time! Really lovely staffowners, got taken to see and pet all the amazing animals they have, plus became good friends with the donkeys and pony that are in the field directly behind the cabin. Great accommodation, really clean and a comfy bed. Hot tub was great, good spacious shower and the farm was really dog friendly. Really appreciated the fresh eggs, bubbly and milk etc. Oh and the cute heart sponge in the hot tub was a lovely touch Only thing missing for me was a full length mirror in the cabin. Lots of great places to visit near by, Bingley st Ives estate was great and only about 10mins drive away. Thank you for having us, we will most definitely be back! Clayre, Dan, Piper and Poppy xxxx

Relaxing Getaway from start to finish pet friendly accommodation , Just ... Relaxing Getaway from start to finish pet friendly accommodation , Just returned from a 5 day stay at The Old Corn Store ,What a fantastic quiet location and amazing views, and all the animals on the farm Jo introduced us to feeding the alpacas, donkeys, pigs, goats, emus, geese, pony, a must for animal lovers, A nice touch from jo on arrival was to have milk tea bags, coffee, sugar, biscuits and a complimentary bottle of bubbly which we enjoyed in the hot tub with views over Keighley, Also a secure area provided for the dogs to exercise in, We would definitely recommend the old corn store which was very well presented and well equipped We will defiantly be returning Joe & Jeanette Bannon
We had a brilliant birthday stay at the Old Corn Store. Everything was really clean when we got there. First thing we noticed is the animals, which we absolutely loved. There were a few baby alpacas there during our stay and we had the pleasure of getting up close to them one which was only 6 weeks old! The owners of the cottages were really helpful. We had a problem with our car and the owners went out their way to help us which we really appreciated. The hot tub was gorgeous under a lovely tree and we even went in when it was raining. The view is beautiful with donkeys, emus and alpacas in the fields nearby. The cottage itself is lovely and warm with underfloor heating and really clean. Everything was perfect and we would definitely recommend. Sad to leave! Thank you for a lovely stay.
The week was very special and exceeded our expectations weather was perfect and the hot tub we used every day. The array of animals were a great pleasure to encounter the countryside was so different to ours back home. Would use again.
Very clean and covid careful. Beautiful views and loved the animals. Would highly recommended.
