Dream Catcher Lodge Reviews

Michelle
We all loved our stay in the lodge. It was equipped with everything we needed. It was cosy and we all slept soundly in the comfortable beds. The hot tub was clean and maintained. Our 3 teenage kids also loved the lodge. Well definitely be back in the future.
There were a couple of things wrong with the holiday lodge, we notified the owner and she was very prompt in replying
Beautiful resort, lovely lodge, so peaceful, and if you are up early enough in the morning, you can walk right around the lake and see lots of wild rabbits. My family had a great time. The beds were so comfortable that I slept like a log every night. I would highly recommend driving up to lakeside at the bottom of Lake windermere where there is an aquarium, steam train and a boat that will take you up to Bowness or you can go further if you want where it has beautiful scenery. Also, a 30minute walk away is Greenland Farm Village, which is a lovely day out and can have a game of crazy golf.

We stayed here recently for 3 nights. The lodge was very clean and spacious. The hot tub was superb. All of our family commented on how comfortable the beds are. More than enough home comforts in the lodge too. Location is great, we had some lovely meals out at nearby restaurants. The location of the lodge on the main site is good. Would love to stay here again for another short break.

Couldnt find any fault. The chalet was clean beds comfy and there was everything we needed.
Lovely lodge. Nice area. Clean and tidy. Would recommend for a stay in the area.
Really nice accomodation. Exceptionally clean. The hot tub was lovely....just outside and secluded plus undercover which was a bonus as we had lots of rain!
Would defo recommend staying here, everything was up to the description stated ... Would defo recommend staying here, everything was up to the description stated on the site really relaxed and the hot tub was a brill add on The site was clean friendly and really picturesque the only thing needed is a shop on site Had the best few days away and will defo be booking again soon
The property was great, much bigger than expected and everything you would need. The hot tub was a great extra. The location of the property is good, not on a through road and we were given information on how to find it on arrival. The facilities are good and not too far away. We personally found the restaurant and swimming a little expensive but that would definitely not stop us booking this property again!!
Steven
The booking with Sykes was straight forward, very prompt reply to our queries and question. The Dream Catcher Lodge was very clean and well maintained, I could go on and on, but in a nutshell....Fantastic place, family had a great relaxing time. Definitely worth a stay and we will be returning.
Aniela
We had an amazing stay the lodge was really clean and well maintained. The pictures dont make it justice
Great facilities at the cabin which was generally clean and modern. A nice surprise with our welcome pack. Hot tub was great. Pub, restaurant and swimming pool were also very good.
The property was lovely and comfy with plenty of pillows, towels etc. The welcome pack was very appreciated and having small things such as sugar, salt and pepper is always useful. The lodge is spacious and the hot tub super. The only downside is that the park does not have a playground for children and the leisure centre charges more for swimming if you don't book through the leisure park directly. It cost 42 for a family of 6 to go swimming in a standard pool. All in all, we had a good holiday.
It was amazing and would love to stay again my only little tiny complate there was a massive spider over the microwave and a few dead flys in tje bathroom Window and 1 of the bed rooms. Also for on the site my children would have liked access to a play ground. Loved the lodge 100stay again

Lakeland Wildlife Oasis - LA6 1JH
about 3 Miles
Located in the Milnthorpe area of Cumbria we love this local attraction.  With an eclectic mix of fascinating wildlife and hands on displays this centre is educational as well as fun.  You can wander around at leisure admiring the exhibits which range from chameleons to computers. Some of the most threatened species are kept at the park as part if international breeding programmes.  Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs which are great value for money.  There are discounts for pre-booked parties of 12 or more.
Happy Mount Park - LA4 5AQ
about 6 Miles
Happy Mount Park has attractions for the whole family including several play areas, a miniature railway, crazy golf, putting green and trampolines, there is also a paddling pool where the little ones can splash around in the summer and a café where the adults can relax with a drink. During the summer months and especially during school holidays live music can often be enjoyed.
South Lakes Safari Zoo - LA12 0LU
about 17 Miles

This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals.  Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area.  Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos.  At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed.  Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.

Bowland Wild Boar Park - PR3 2QT
about 18 Miles
Head for the Bowland Wild Boar park and we don't think you will be disappointed.  A popular attraction in Preston there is so much to do for the whole family.  From picnics, walks and wildlife to experiencing feeding the animals you are sure to have a memorable day out.  Also popular is the kids tractor play area.  For rest and relaxation the cafe is ideal serving hot drinks and snacks with a lovely view over the pond and wildlife feeding station.  The Forest of Bowland has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Rydal Mount & Gardens - LA22 9LU
about 22 Miles
Rydal Mount & Gardens are wonderfully situated between Lake Windermere and Rydal Water offering breathtaking scenery. The home of William Wordsworth from 1813 - 1850 the grand home is now lived in by the poets descendents but parts of the house and grounds are open to the public. Why not take a guided tour and see the rooms where many of the famous poems were written. The gardens are beautiful at all times of the year but in the summer offer a spectacular display of colour. There is also a gallery and a tearoom. Discounts are available for group bookings.
Ullswater Steamers - CA11 0US
about 28 Miles
This is an award winning Lake District attraction and they have been operating cruisers on Lake Ullswater for over 150 years.  There is no better way to explore the lakes than on water and you could even combine a cruise with a spectacular walk.  For great days out in this region then this attraction is highly recommended and will appeal to couples as well as families.  Corporate groups are also well catered for.
