Earl Grey Reviews

Paul
a great property and very helpful and approachable owners

Located in a beautiful area of Yorkshire. We enjoyed good weather, which makes a big difference if you enjoy walking from the door. Very peaceful and restful site. We drove to N.T. properties and Gorge nearby. Some pubs have closed. We enjoyed a lovely Lamb Shank at the King's Head, in Kettlewell, after walking around the lovely village and church garden.
Rebekka
Beautiful setting and lovely hosts
Leah
This was exactly what we needed! A little place to ignore the rest of the world for a few days!
Ellie
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and New Year at the summer house. The perfect way to see in 2023. The hot tub was fab, we recommend the drop and dip service so its ready and up to temperature on your first night - we didnt take advantage of it but would definitely do it on future visits. If you sit still the light will go out and you can gaze at the stars. The accommodation was wonderful and incredibly well laid out, really cosy and comfy bed too. Highly recommended
Claire
This property looks nice but we found the overall stay most un-relaxing & we left after 1 night. Bedroom is small but comfortable & quiet. Downstairs is so small that it simply doesn't work. Washing up is awkward, you have to put your head under the stairs & into the corner to get to the sink! Hob took 15 minutes to boil water. Shower ran out of ho t water, WIFI didn't work & bar stools were very uncomfortable. You can sit outside but there's no lighting at night. Very overpriced.
Bal
Owners and admin/ care taker staff are brilliant. Very kind and always willing to help.
Emma
This was our third visit and we had a fantastic week. We would highly recommend! We plan to visit again in the future.
Andy
Truly amazing place, set in beautiful grounds, the appartment is a little gem, has everything you need. The owner is a great guy, very helpful and friendly. We just sat in the hot tub, looking at the most amazing sky on Saturday night, Ive never found a place so remote and quiet. Will definitely return. Fresh bread and eggs on arrival, very comfy b ed and to wake up to see Hornby castle is just an added bonus. Lovely restaurants and shops 10 minutes away. Couldnt ask for more 10/10
Gemma
Beautifully presented, with the most scenic settings. The cottage itself was a dream, with great facilities! Karl was attentive and bread, jam and fresh eggs were a brilliant touch.
Lee
Absolutely superb weekend, beautiful cottage and surroundings! Renovated to an absolutely pristine level. Very quaint, quiet, clean and perfect for a couples get away. The hot tub was lovely. Heated up in no time and holds its heat so well. Given the weather, I expected it being cold during the night but it was lovely cosy and warm. Lovely laid lis tening to the wind howling whilst curled up in bed watching the tele. Would definitely recommend and would certainly return. Absolutely beautiful.
Jarret
A stunning cottage located on a great plot of land surrounded by nothing but nature albeit with a very poor road leading to it. The fit and finish of the cottage inside is of higher spec but unfortunately dated in areas. While warned that it was small, the layout made it awkward to move around, cook or relax. We had a patch of damp on the stairwell wall which attracted lots of wood lice during our stay. With a bit of TLC prior, our stay would have been so much better.
Lynda
We absolutely loved this place, despite it being even smaller than we had anticipated! Wed highly recommend it for short breaks and would definitely stay there again.
Jeni
Absolutely gorgeous cottage and setting. Not the easiest to find, but once you enter the track leading to it, it's like you're leaving the rest of the world behind. So quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. The cottage was clean and well thought out for maximum use of space. The kitchen was full of multiuse appliances and was very clean. The hot tub was private and intimate, Karl was a fantastic host and was very accommodating if we needed anything during our stay.
Craig
Perfect place for a couples get away. Small but cosy and very well thought out so you never feel lacking. The tower is half a mile along a private road toward the farm, so the views are idyllic and at night all you hear is owls and pheasants.

There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too.  If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.
