We took our extended family for a weeks stay over August 22 and I cannot recommend it enough The Castle itself is steeped in history and is beautifully decorated and furnished to the highest level. There was lots of room both inside the Castle and within the extended grounds for everyone to have their own space. The open fire, hot tub and country k itchen were stand out features alongside the extensive grounds. The location is perfect to explore the Kintyre peninsular too.

Excellent and comfortable holiday home for a large group of adults and teenagers set in peaceful countryside. We have been coming to Argyll on a family holiday for 40 years and this is one of the best places that we have rented. The owners and caretaker were very helpful and interested in ensuring that we had a great stay. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for a large group and the dining room was great for big family dinners. Games room, hot tub perfect.

We had a most enjoyable family holiday staying at Kilchrist Castle. We were celebrating our daughter's 21st birthday and he owners had very thoughtfully decorated the outside door and entrance hall with birthday banners, which was a lovely touch. The castle itself was very warm, comfortable and well equipped. Our weather was not great, so we made u se of the hot tub and played plenty of board games, including a "murder at the manor" murder mystery while having dinner one night. Great fun.

Kilchrist castle was beautifully decorated , the best equipt property I have ever stayed in. The whole area was stunning, a wonderful relaxing holiday. A lovely greeting from Jamie and Iain on out arrival . The beach at Southend was amazing and to see wild seals was the icing on the cake . Although the area doesn't have much to offer very young chi ldren other than the beach both my children who are 14 and 7 found the place fantastic. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property.
