We had the most relaxing and tranquil holiday located on a beautiful small loch teeming with wildlife from deer to swans, and with great views. The lodge was spacious, equipped to a very high standard with luxurious fixtures and fittings and positioned so you were not overlooked by the other three lodges. The owners Robin and Fiona are a lovely hel pful couple, unobtrusive yet always willing to chat.

The moment we saw the sun glistening off the loch as we turned down the drive we knew we were in for a treat! What a beautiful stunning setting. When we stepped into the lodge and saw the tasteful well thought out decor we were not disappointed. Everything was to the highest standard, from the fluffy Egyptian towels to the luxurious soft furnishing s. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. This property is all it advertises and more. Robin and Fiona are the most considerate of owners and are happy to do anything for you to make your stay as good as it can be. Just something to be aware of if you like eating out, is that everything is a reasonable drive away. That said it didnt affect our holiday as everywhere we ate was lovely.

Mabie Farm Park is a firm favourite. Ideal for families with younger children ,this family oriented farm park has lots of animals to meet and also offers Donkey Rides, Paddle Boats and Slides as well as Trampolines and Bouncy Castles. Kids can run around on the Soft Play Area while mum and dad relax in the Tea Room. There is also a Farm Shop onsite selling toys, gifts and fresh local produce including cakes and jams. Seasonal activities can also be enjoyed including a spookly tea and walk on Haloween. The Farm closes for the winter on October 31st.
