We had a lovely relaxing break at Pirleyhill Pods. The pods are in a beautiful location with a sea view - perfect spot for a sunset. Lots of attention to detail in what is provided - bbq with gas, hot tub under shelter, bottle of prosecco in the fridge, information about the local area and takeaway menus. The pods are really comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Lots to explore in the local area as well! Would highly recommend!

The lodges are in a great location. Fantastic views with peace & quiet apart from the birds chirping & the Cows mooing. Such a lovely place. Even in the rain. Hot Tub has shelter so still allows use while it's raining and great when the sun came out. Great watching the sunrise & sunset. A great compact space but still comfy for 2 especially with ch airs and tables inside & out. We'd definitely come back and book another Pod again. Easy to find with good signposting. Great hosts too.

The owners couldnt do enough for us they went above and beyond, Stuart was just a call or a text away if you needed any help or advice about anything. Perfect location if you want to get away from the city life with a lot of walking trails boat trips to isle of aaran or to Alisa Craig. All in all a perfect little get away.

We stayed at Penkill Lodge, it was nice inside and the location was surreal, very isolated. The hottub was great too. We had a very fun long weekend here. The owners even had a bottle of Champagne and milk on arrival which was a lovely touch. Overall, a brilliant experience. The only thing Id say negatively was that there was a bit of water leakage from the rain outside coming from the doors and window, but as it was a January storm, I can begin to understand this. Would love to come back!

5 star accommodation at the top of a hill. Spectacular views ... from the hot tub ... and sunsets too. The lodge had everything you need for a pleasant stay. The water was piping hot, the shower was excellent and lighting, oven, fridge/freezer and wifi worked perfectly. I could not fault this. The owners are on site and are happy to help you with a nything. They equally respect your privacy and leave you to it unless you wish to speak to them. I would recommend this for a break with a difference.

Such a peaceful place with gorgeous views over to Arran. We had a mixture of weather from blue skies to driving wind and rains. The pod is amazingly well insulated and even in the high winds was quiet and beautifully warm. The hot tub was hot and clean - just like everything. Great hosts - and cows and sheep visit along the fence. WiFi was ok and e nough to stream Netflix etc without issue. Girvan is about 10mins down the road with a good sized ASDA/ pharmacy / petrol etc.

Peaceful, beautiful views and if you need anything Girvan is literally 10 minutes down the road. Stunning place to stay even if you explore whilst you are there and use it as a base.
