The location of the lodge was outstanding and the views around it were stunning. We loved watching the birds visiting the loch and the daily changes in the location of the farms livestock. The bedroom and en suites were lovely, as were the open plan areas. Our hosts were easily accessible and made us feel at home from our arrival. The lodge was absolutely perfect, with everything we could possibly need. It had all the comforts of home with little touches to welcome us. The view was stunning - whether it was rain or shine it was lovely to sit and look out onto the loch and watch the wildlife. The hot tub was a huge hit with us all, especially our boys. We love this day out in Cumbria where you're encouraged to "take a fresh look".  Some of the amazing animals you will get to see include the only Canadian Lynx in the UK and you will have the opportunity to help their Lynx Conservation Project.  The Asian Fishing Cat is also well worth a look - these cats are known for diving under the water and catching fish!  Other activities include fantastic flying displays and play areas for the little ones...
