We had a lovely stay at Greenknowe Cottage. The cottage is very cosy with more than enough space for a family of 4. Having 2 sitting rooms was great for when people needed their own space. The hot tub was a brilliant way to relax at the end of the day. We visited Edinburgh and the Falkirk Wheel whilst we were there and also got to the Beach at ColdRead moreingham Bay. A real home from home. We travelled with a 14 year old and a 6 month old. The cottage was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Karen provided a highchair and 2 travel cots, one for sleeping and one to use as a play pen. We found Karen to be extremely accommodating but not intrusive, without asking she changed the swing in the garden to a seat suitable for the baby. On one night Karen invited us to feed the horse and sheep which we really enjoyed. Very clean. Highly recommend!!!

A lovely, homely holiday cottage. Very clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The inside and outside spaces were ideal. The enclosed garden was great for the dog. The layout of the cottage with a seperate snug gave us all plenty of space to relax in. The hot-tub was a great hit! I wish I could give this cottage six stars. Comfortable, warm, clean and very very welcoming. We booked last minute due to a family emergency and this place has been a really tranquil haven for us and our dog. The cottage is set in a very quiet rural location which is perfect if you want to get away from busy town / city life. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable on the local area. The cottage had everything you need on holiday and is very spacious. We were there as a couple, so did not use the second bedroom or TV snug room, but these are perfec t for a family. We will book again if holidaying in this area.
