The lodge is lovely and in a beautiful setting but it is tired and not clean. The bed sheets were clean and the bathrooms generally but toilet were not. The kitchen was not at all clean especially the oven and hob. The dishwasher was not working properly as it needed, salt and rinse aid. As a result the dishes and pots in cupboard had a residue. ThRead moree sofas had crumbs and nail clippings under cushions. We were told the rubbish from previous week would be collected but it was left all week. Hide

Beautiful location, lodge warm and cosy although the windows and doors need some TLC. Beds very comfortable, bathrooms and showers good standard.

Lovely lodge with amazing views, super hot tub. We did thoroughly enjoy our peaceful vacation. BUT the cleaners really let the place down. Dust, cobwebs. Couldn't use freezer as don't believe it's ever been thawed out, full of hard ice. BBQ had fag stump and mould in it. Outdoor table and chairs were filthy and need a repaint.Dishtowel stained. RewRead moreashed all dishes and utensils as not all clean. It's a pity that the cleaners let this wonderful place down. Think a welcome pack should be included. Hide

Thanks so much, we had an absolutely fantastic holiday. The view is spectacular! The lodge was warm, clean, comfortable, private and well equipped. Loved the hot tub too. We stayed during the storm/heavy rains and some of the hardcore on the access road was washed away. The lodge is in an idyllic location with beautiful views of Loch Ness and woodland walks, the dramaric Falls of Foyers, an excellent hotel restaurant all onthe doorstep and cafes and basic groceries in the village. The lodge was warm and cosy, beds super comfortable and showers powerful with plenty of hot water. We especially loved relaxing in the Read moreupstairs seating area. Some aspects of the lodge are a little tired and due an update but overall we recommend this beautiful retreat. Hide

Cottage was in a great location for exploring the area but unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. The cottage didn't have the standard of cleanliness you would expect, the carpet was not clean and had dog hair all over it. Some of the kitchen equipment was not usable. There was bulbs missing in a few of the lights. The hot tub was good wiRead moreth a lovely view, but there was a problem with the lid. There is a BBQ but it hadnt been cleaned and had cigarette butts inside. Hide

Spacious accommodation, had everything we needed in the kitchen - great to have a dishwasher and washing machine too. Quiet base to relax and explore locally and beyond. Loved the Al pacas nearby, Dores beach and the falls at foyers (all close by).

Fabulous property in a beautiful location with spectacular views of Loch Ness. Ideally located for exploring the area. We especially loved being able to walk down to Loch Ness and up to the Falls at Foyers. Great experiences.

This is a lovely lodge overlooking Loch Ness from the hill-side. There is a very nice hot tub to sit in outside from which you can try to spot Nessie! The kitchen is well-equipped (we cooked a Sunday dinner easily). There is a little shop nearby. It's a great base to explore the highlands from. It's was a little cool for us, even with the heating o n, but nothing you can't overcome with a fleece! There was plenty of parking space. Bathrooms are great - the showers in particular have great flow.
Sarah
Beautiful location. Spotlessly clean. Spacious everything you require for a perfect break away.
Robert
Value for money, quiet, nice, unfortunate lack of shops in the area, closes one like tesco asda 30-40 minutes away woth the car, but otherwise really nice, and calming.
Emma
Just back from 5 day stay in lodge 3. We really couldnt fault a single thing. The lodge was absolutely stunning and set in the most beautiful location. We stayed with our 3 kids who also thoroughly enjoyed their time there. The lodge is a great base for exploring locally and there are so many really fabulous places to eat only a short drive. Wed co me back here in a heart beat. Lovely walks around the area, if like us you also have dogs. Dont hesitate to book this place, its a real find!
