Fantastic accommodation in a great location. As a party of 12 adults and 3 children the amenities were well thought out and provided comfort to all. Would say the single beds and bunk beds were slightly small for adults but for a short stay we managed ok.
A lovely house! Very comfortable, homely and clean. The hosts were excellent with great communication! A fabulous stay!
Sharlene
Cliffhanger is an amazing property, the views are stunning. The house itself is immaculate and had everything you needed. Max the owner was there to meet us when we arrived to show us around which was really helpful. I would highly recommend this property to stay at.
Hannah
Fantastic property for our needs. I did think for the price it was a bit much to tell the guests that they needed to strip the beds and put it into laundry bags. We all thought this was very cheeky.
Patricia
The house was beautifully decorated but felt like a home. Excellent facilities, the grandchildren enjoyed the hot tub and the decked area was wonderful to sit and enjoy the view. The owners next door were extremely helpful and friendly but not intrusive. All in all an excellent holiday.

Stayed at cliffhanger with my family, 9 adults and 2 children and it was absolutely fantastic. The owners communication prior to arrival was great, they were so lovely and left a very generous welcome basket and freshly baked cake. The house is just stunning, the decor is amazing and we felt really at home staying there. Every room is kitted out and has its own beautiful bathroom except the bunk room which the children stayed in. The hot tub was amazing and we could almost fit everyone in. But it was the views, honestly the location is just spot on. We would definitely stay again!
A beautiful house that has been furnished and equipped with great care. It was big enough that 7 of us could each have some space if we needed it, and yet the dining and lounge areas both felt cosy. The hot tub was great!!! We were really impressed with the welcome pack champagne, biscuits, eggs, coffee and milk, the most amazing homemade cake, and the enormous Christmas tree in the hall which actually made us feel quite emotional, after what has been a difficult year for everyone. The only very small niggle was that we didn't find the instructions for replacing the bin liners, or sorting out the recycling until our last day, as they were in a drawer we hadn't opened. Perhaps a folder with all details in could be placed prominently so it would be seen at the very beginning? Overall, though, one of the best houses we have ever stayed in, which lived up to all our expectations.

We had a fantastic stay at Cliffhanger, it helped in being a very balmy October weekend with beautiful wall to wall sunshine. The property is a real treat, luxurious and comfortable bedrooms, a lovely sociable kitchen and dining area and a simply fabulous deck with a huge hot tub. We couldn't have asked for more. The property is set in a quiet street in St Leonards but is in walking distance to the beach. Katie left some delightful welcome treats which was lovely. Would definitely return. Couldn't recommend enough.
We had a great time at Cliffhanger. The house is huge and finished to a very highly standard, great for a large group not to feel on top of each other. The views from deck and hot tub are amazing. There are many great places nearby to visit, Rye, Camber Sands, Beachy Head to name a few. The owners are next door and very helpful but not at all intrusive. We would highly recommend and will look to return in the future.
Really lovely, helpful and responsive hosts. The place is absolutely stunning and we got to see both sunshine and storm in all it's glory from the terrace.
Annika
The house was fantastic, even better than it looked in the photos. There were lots of thoughtful touches that made it even more welcoming, and our hosts were very helpful in organising little extras for us. The group had a wonderful time together and we hope to visit again!
Cristina
It was a fantastic place to stay, the house was incredible with amazing facilities in all the rooms and thoughtful touches. The owners were friendly, relaxed and flexible. We had a fantastic stay and would love to go back again soon!
Alison
We had a brilliant relaxing weekend away and the hot tub is great. Fabulous hosts 5 star
Barbara
The house was very well equipped and there was plenty of room for our family gathering. We all enjoyed the hot tub with sea views. The children enjoyed the toys which were provided for their use.
We spent a really great weekend at Cliffhanger. Initially I was a bit concerned that the owners live not only next door but attached to the property as I was celebrating my 50th birthday! This turned out not to be a problem at all. The house had everything you could wish for and more, the only thing it lacked was a cheese grater although it might just be that we couldn't find it. The hot tub was fantastic and a definite plus. The only minor things that were a tiny bit of a let down were the sizes of the 2 double beds when split into 2 singles in that they were really narrow singles plus a 3rd bed in one of the rooms was a short bed so I wouldn't say that the house sleeps 11 adults comfortably for all. All in all we had a fabulous stay at Cliffhanger which is a beautiful house and the owners were very friendly, helpful and hospitable. Thank you for making my weekend a truly memorable one!
Russell
We had the best holiday, the house was incredible! It was clean, comfy and everything was thought out to make for a really relaxing stay! Great owners who made us so welcome! Would love to return.
Lindsey
Was so impressed with this property, the pictures online didn't do this place justice. It was everything we could have asked for with a touch of class. The only thing I would state, there is no parking.
Nicole
Absolutely fantastic from beginning to end! Beautiful house, wonderful hosts. Perfect in every way!
