When it rained on our last evening there The kitchen ceiling sprang a couple of leaks in the corner on the right hand side just as you enter the kitchen from the hallway, so maybe needs looking at before it gets worse, also caravan two doors down caught fire on new years evening and we hosted the families that it affected by helping them over the fences and into us until the fire brigade got it under control, very scary at the time as the wind was very strong and causing the fire to spread very fast in the direction away from us but had the wind been in our direction the danger would have been far worse especially with the caravan sight behind us So we assume the fire damage will be a bit of an eyesore for anyone due to stay there soon Our new year went a bit different to plan but it was one we definitely wont forget for a long time, we had intended to see the new year in in the hot tub but missed out on that one for obvious reasons And then the wind refused to drop over our last two days there the time my husband and l had set aside for just the two of us having some alone time and use of the hot tub having packed our children and grandchildren off home just didnt pan out but never mind it was still a great break away
It was a lot of money for a weekend, so having to go out to buy toilet rolls and kitchen towel was a tad annoying. Otherwise a great location.

We very much enjoyed our week at Coast Guard House. Proximity to beach was a real plus. The owners were very quick and efficient at helping us the first day with several issues. We hope to return in the future. Thankyou.

The property and setting are lovely and suited our group very well. Easy to reach and a reasonable distance from several towns that are worthwhile visiting. Looking forward to a return stay.

I booked Coast Guard House pretty last minute for my dad's 60th birthday I had been let down by another property on a different website and it was perfect, exactly what I was looking for and more! We were a group of 10 adults plus one small dog and at no point did we feel on top of each other or cramped together. Bedrooms are really spacious with the exception of the bunk bed room with extremely comfy beds. The view from the house was lovely and even better from the hot tub in the garden! There's also a gate at the bottom of the garden which leads you directly to the beach. Ideal location as well, half way between Herne Bay and Whitstable. Would definitely stay again!
Caroline
Perfect retreat for a larger family. Well equipped and comfortable. Great views and easy access to sea front. Hot tub was a great hit! Only downside was one shower not enough for 8 adults when you want to get out early in the day. Very attentive and thoughtful owners. Loved the drawer of games and puzzles, though we had such beautiful weather they werent needed. Easy walking distance to Herne Bay and Whitstable along the wide paved seafront. Very pushchairwheelchair friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Theresa
Lovely quiet location we went out of season great views, easy access to beach. House is so comfortable and clean, and equipped with everything we needed. Hope to visit again.
Alistair
An excellent property. Very clean, exactly as described, and with owners who were very quickly responsive to our queries. Strongly recommend.
