Everything that you need for a comfortable and convenient stay was there thoughtfully planned out. Lin (one of the hosts) was a great help throughout an d made everything a lot easier. From the homemade cake, to the overall fully equipped cabin with everything you would possibly need. Cheese graters, and other kitchen equipment, to knitting and games. The hot tub was just what we needed to unwind; again the separate towels and outside blankets, even disposable slippers are provided. The local pub has some of the best pub food I h ave had. Whitstable Bay for fresh oysters is only a 20-25 minute drive away if you fancy an afternoon trip. 10/10 would reccomend!

Surrounded by fields and secluded from the hustle of life, this little corner of solitude left us relaxed and refreshed. The owners have thought of everything you might need to distract you from everyday life. You will wonder if this way of living can become your everyday! Take walking shoes or boots, a few books or in our case games and enjoy the quiet. We loved the log burner and the hot tub and used it everyday. We cannot recommend The Griffin's retreat more highly.
Charlotte
Honestly had the best time ever, no complaints at all.

A little slice of heaven all to oourselves, beautiful. Sitting in the cedar hot tub looking up to the ( light pollution free ) night sky, wonderfully relaxing. Made to feel welcome, nothing too small, attention to detail, it all made the stay one we would very much like to repeat. Scott & Sam x
Abigail
We stayed at the property for a weekend in July. It was absolutely fantastic, even better than we imagined! It was very private, the location was great, only 20 minutes in the car from Canterbury and the buzz of the city, but set in a very quiet, oldy worldy area. A great local pub only a few minutes walk away. In the hut there was everything we co uld have wanted! Nothing was forgotten and every detail was perfect! The hot tub was wonderful. We had a 10/10 stay and would highly recommend!
