The Snug at Pickelden Farmhouse Reviews

Had the loveliest break away, from home to home. The hosts were so helpful whenever we had any questions! Everything else was perfect! 15 minute walk to the station which was only 5 mins into Canterbury centre. Would recommend
Sandeep
We absolutely loved the Snug. It was perfect for our mini break. It ticked all the boxes and the hosts were so attentive and also set up the Hot Tub before our arrival. The Snug was everything we needed relaxing, cosy and a mini home away from home. The grounds are also outstanding and lovely to wander around. We will definately be back and reccomend this to our friends and family.
A lovely place to stay with all the home from home things youd need, very clean, well presented and all the mod cons, not a negative thing to say. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Beautiful property, beautiful surrounds and amazing hosts
Jessica
Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful. The hot tub didnt get hot at all despite using all of the paper & logs and stuff. There were quite a lot of bugs in the property which is to be expected because of the surroundings but I have a very big phobia of spiders and I was petrified. Quite a lot of spider webs on the ceilings and walls. The decor was lovely, very comfy bed although it was on the small side as my partner is 6ft. I would say that sun loungers are a must especially when the weather was as good as it was for us when we stayed. All in all we had a great time but I do think 400 is a lot of money for what it actually is.
Gorgeous property, in lovely surroundings. River at the bottom with a seat, very peaceful and also very private. The Snug had everything we needed and the owners are only a txt away if you require anything. There are a couple of pubs within a 20 minute walk and lots of walks on the doorstep. The train station is also just a 10 minute walk away which can take you to Canterbury. Hot tub was lovely to come back to. I would 100 recommend this property.
Such a beautiful place to stay, lovely scenery! The snug is fully kitted out to a really high standard and when we arrived it was immaculately clean. Hosts were very friendly and super helpful. The complimentary cookies were a really sweet touch, and the information book was very helpful for cab companies and things to do in the area. A perfect weekend away and we will definitely be coming back.
Relaxing week in a peaceful location, nice outdoor space. Friendly, welcoming hosts but were not intrusive.

Lovely property, finished to a high standard. We enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful weekend at The Snug. The property is very private, yet you have the comfort of knowing the hosts are onsite if needed. We would definitely recommend!
Giovanni
Beautifully kept property in a peaceful area. Lovely and peaceful large garden area to relax in, friendly and helpful owners, inside very clean and modern with a comfortable double bed, would highly recommend.
Rosalinde
Lovely little bolt hole, compact but with everything you need. Top spec equipment but it might be a good idea to have instructions on how to use things more readily to hand had to get owner to instruct me on hob, and then had to google microwave manual. Lovely owners, very helpful, but beware leaving the doors open when evening comes, it becomes bug heaven indoors, I should have anticipated that though. Small constructiveI hope criticism, those chairs are not very comfy for tv watching, and the angle is all wrong to watch from the bed unless that was something else I couldn't work out. Nice to be close to a stream, just sitting by water and trees is very good for the soul.
