Birdsong Barn is absolutely gorgeous. We had such an amazing week there over Christmas! The owners were so kind, and the barn is so well equipped meaning it was a true home from home. We also couldn't believe how many lovely walks there were nearby - Morte Point and Heddon Valley to name a couple! We were also only 30 minutes away from Woolacombe, which is home to a beautiful, long stretch of sandy beach. 10/10 - we'd love to return to this beautiful location again!

Fabulous place, beautifully thought out and decorated. Lovely location as it's nice and quiet but not too far from lots of places, beautiful coastal walks and amazing views. Birdsong Barn is in a wonderful, peaceful location with glorious views from the patio. Its comfortable and cosy with every requirement covered. Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families. There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings. Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast". There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga. As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
