Such a lovely peaceful location. Great views of the sea. The house is very spacious and our staffie loved the enclosed garden. Walk to the beach and back is very steep but the beach itself is such a hidden gem. Fiona, the manager, was brilliant and gave us tips on where to visit etc.

We had a fabulous stay at this gorgeous house. Plenty of space and bedrooms very comfy. The gardens and view were beautiful, it was a little haven. 10 minutes walk to the beach, lovely little coffee shop but very hilly surroundings, Area of outstanding natural beauty and a National Trust Marine centre to visit. Lovely coastal walk with dramatic sce nery and horses. We loved it!
Jim
Beautifull cottage in a serene setting. Everything u need is in the house and the beach is only 10 min walk from the property. Loved it!
Iain
Despite variable weather during the week had a great family holiday. Plenty to walk to locally, and reasonably short drives to other places around Plymouth. Spacious house in nice location. Local shop useful for essential purchases. Good sized enclosed garden to allow dog to roam. Hot tub was great place to relax even in the rain. With 6 adults plu s one toddler, bedroom and bathroom allocations not perfect (perfection would have been another toilet in the second upstairs bedroom.)
Carol
The house is lovely and set in a gorgeous spot with large private garden brilliant for pets and children. Ever-changing views of the sea make it even better. The hot tub is an added bonus. Fiona the property manager was excellent, went above and beyond to make our stay stress free. Always available if we had any queries. The owners gave us tips abo ut the local area. The Mount Batten Ferry to Plymouth makes it very easy to visit and was very reasonably priced. We had a fabulous week here.
Christine
A beautiful house in a lovely peaceful garden. Sitting at the table looking out to sea made breakfasts just perfect and the settee by the patio doors was very popular. The house was very homely and well designed with a big downstairs shower/utility room for beach or rain wear. The welcome pack of tea coffee milk and cream scones was very welcome af ter a long journey. The beach is a perfect family area with rock pools either side and sand in the middle, delicious ice creams and a cafe.
Karen
We had a wonderful week in this lovely property. Very spacious and comfortable and best equipped holiday home we have stayed in to date. Our young grandchildren loved the playroom. We all loved the garden. The provided gazebo was a great bonus for providing shade as the garden is beautifully sunny. Great views of the bay and just a few minutes walk or drive down to the beach and cliff paths.
Rob
Eddystone View is a great property, definitely within walking distance to the beach for anyone that is fit. The owners seem to improve the property every year, and always clean. The lady who looks after the property gave us good advice on eating out and places to visit. An excellent property throughout..
Laura
Beautiful house 5 minutes away from wembury beach. House very well equipped. House could do with another en suite upstairs as only one upstairs meaning 2nd bedroom has to go down to the bathroom in the night. We loved staying there for a week!
Eleanor
Wonderful week in a great property - truly a home away from home. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the homeliness of the aga, and the garden was perfect for our dog. Plenty to do within a short drive and lots of local walks. We would definitely return.
