Harbour Lodge Reviews

Christopher
A wonderful place to stay, very comfortable and everything you could need. The welcome pack of food and drink was incredible and very much appreciated! We will definitely be back!
We have spent many years traveling to Teignmouth and staying in holiday property homes, Harbour lodge is undoubtedly the best place we have ever stayed in. The house was clean, tidy and the amenities were ample for a family of 6. What was also impressive was the welcome pack on arrival. The owners really made you feel as you where at home.
Nicola
Wonderful tardis of luxury rooms and jacuzzi. Well equipped and homely. Generous welcome gifts appreciated. Great location and lots of activities for all age groups. We had a marvellous memorable family holiday . Highly recommend this property. Reserved Parking places for 2 cars.

Great holiday home, extremely well equipped. Hot tub is a plus, particularly after a long day walking or sight seeing. Wonderful location 5 mins from everything than Teignmouth has to offer. Be warned if you are mobility impaired that it is over 3 floors, but there's a toilet on each floor. Parking also a plus as Teignmouth can get a bit crowded. Heaps to do for families of all ages. Pity it isn't dog friendly as Teignmouth itself is, but then it probably wouldn't be so clean and well equipped.

Harbour Lodge was fantastic! It was perfect for our group of 8 made up of four couples in our late 20searly 30s. We had a couple of nights in, playing games and having some drinks and then had a couple of nights out at the local pubs and bars. The Blue Anchor is just next door and has a brilliant atmosphere. The beach is just a ten minute walk and the lido we went there for the day as the tide was too far in was only a further 4 mins from the beach. The lido was fab with its outdoor pool and sunbathing beds. Harbour Lodge was really clean and had everything we needed. The facilities were excellent and the hot tub was sublime! We will definitely be booking again in the future! Thank you Harbour Lodge!
Excellent holiday property first class. Everybody in party had no complaints

An excellent weeks holiday. Comfortable and spacious accommodation. Very generous welcome package including food, drinks and fruit. Convenient location close to pubs and restaurants. Good offstreet parking gave peace of mind and made loading and unloading very straightforward. Would have loved to spend more time there.

As a family we had a lovely few days at Harbour Lodge. Also we were left a lovely welcome package which was very generous. The house had all that you need to enjoy a home away from home break.

Habour lodge is a wonderful property, it is so well equipped clean and ... Habour lodge is a wonderful property, it is so well equipped clean and comfortable, and the welcome pack goes above and beyond anything you would expect even in a 5 hote,l if anyone can find anything to complain about at this property then they must live a life of luxury
We had a fantastic holiday with our friends at Harbour Lodge. The owner left us 2 bottles of wine, bowl of fruit , 2 loaves and other items. The lodge was spotlessly clean and the fixtures and fittings were excellent. You can't tell from the Photographs how good the location is, straight over the road is a lovely lane that goes straight into Teignmouth where you can get all your daily needs. Five minute walk around the small harbour. The only fault I have is that I can't give it SIX STARS ! Will definitely book again.
Harbour lodge was the best holiday home we have stayed in. Harbour lodge was in a great location close to shops, beaches and restaurants. The welcome pack was amazing more than most places give everything needed to start your holiday. We really enjoyed are stay and the hot tub. We would recommend to everyone. looking forward to coming back for another visit.
Lynette
Harbour Lodge was absolutely lovely. All essentials were provided. There was an extremely generous welcome pack. The property was very clean and comfortable. The bonus was the hot tub which the grandchildren loved. We met the owner, Dave, on arrival and he made us feel very welcome. We were really looking forward to staying at Harbour Lodge as the pictures of it looked fabulous. It did not disappoint and added to the enjoyment of our holiday. We may be back!!!
Great property. Much bigger than I had expected. Clean and well equipped. Photos don't do it justice at all. Loved the choice of the two patios and hot tub was a fab bonus. So close to shops, cafes and beaches, just a 5 minute walk. Very helpful host and a lovely surprise to have such a generous starter pack. All in all, a very comfortable place to spend our family holiday.
guerita
The property was very comfortable and stocked with everything that you would need. The owners also left a very generous welcome pack.
Fabulous property. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely go back. My only problem is with Sykes description. Contrary to your description everything was provided. We did not need to take tea towels or indeed anything else except beach towels. Please dont use your generic disclaimers, you need to tailor these to the specific properties. This property was outstanding and I would recommend it to anyone except the mobility impaired, which I think you should also make clear. Harbour Lodge owner 10 points, Sykes 7 points.
Christopher
This property was very clean and comfortable as well as being in a brilliant position for Teignmouth town centre and exploring South Devon. The town centre and sea front was literally a four to five minute stroll. There were two allocated parking spaces on site which being so close to the town was a bonus. On our arrival there was an extremely generous 'welcome pack' waiting for us with everything you could need to keep you going. The area was very quiet at night even with a lovely pub just over the road. The property owners, Dave and Jenny, were extremely good hosts. Being the first guests staying at this property we had a couple of minor issues which were rectified immediately. You couldn't ask for better hosts. The house was very well equipped and the quality of the fittings and the linen were top rate. This is one property that we would certainly like to visit again in the future. Thank you Dave & Jenny!
