Amazing accommodation, will be returning, clean, tidy, well equipped. So much room for 6 people. The only thing if you have 6 staying the hot tub needs to be larger as only big enough for 4.

Lantern view was the perfect base to explore the beautiful north Devon coast, and when the weather was a little too stormy what a beautiful place to light a fire and sit and watch the world go by. Great location - 5 min walk from the harbour. Steep incline on the walk back from the harbour which may prove difficult for some with mobility issues. For us it was a good way to work off the many ice creams we consumed. Lovely walks just across the road, pitch and putt and a cafe. House was very clean - smelt lovely. Bedrooms are big. We would def initely book this property again if holidaying in the area.

Lovely stay at Lantern view, the house has everything you need for your stay! We even managed to cook a roast dinner, the kitchen is that well equipped. We made the most of walks into Ilfracombe harbour and enjoyed a couple of meals at The lime Kiln just down the road, beautiful views. We visited Woolacombe beach a couple of times, great beach for all the family. The house was clean, tidy and the views from the top balcony are ones we wont forget! Just what we needed.

I recently stayed at a beach rental in Devon and it was a fantastic experience. The highlight was the stunning view from the top balcony of the coastline, which was breathtaking. The location was perfect for a bit of everything, from beach time to shopping, but we found ourselves not wanting to leave the house much as everything we needed was provi ded. The amenities were excellent, with comfortable furnishings and modern appliances.

Lovely townhouse about 10 minutes' walk from the town centre. Steep climb back to the property so not suitable for those with mobility problems. Lovely lounge with views out to sea. Spacious and well fitted kitchen diner. super-sized bedrooms. Nice patio area with hot tub for four people. Off street parking is handy as space is limited!

Beautifully presented in a great location, short walk to the harbour and a pub on your doorstep. Hot tub is an amazing extra. Owners have thought of everything, even a bucket and space available. Parking is for two cars but its right if larger vehicles

Lovely place to stay. The accomodation was clean and well facillitated. Instructions were clear. We came to Ilfracombe during the beginning of March so we were unfortunately out of season when it came to do certain activities however, the accomodation itself was great. Only downside was the size of the hot tub (it being a 6 person accommodation) th e hot tub only fits 4. I'd highly recommend Lantern view nonetheless. I would definitely return in future but when things are in season. Thanks again!

There was plenty of room and the bedrooms were massive. The technology was a little lacking and needed updating but we werent there for watching tv. Great place in a great location.

A beautifully furnished house with lovely sea views from the lounge and terrace. Everything was clean, but a few things let it down - such as cheap quality bedding and towels and the bed in the Master was uncomfortable. Not really close enough to walk to town, as there was a very steep hill. Parking for two cars on the drive. The pub down the road was okay, but we ate in the other nights in the lovely kitchen diner.

Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park is a big hit with families and has a wonderful setting within 26 acres of Sub Tropical grounds. During a stroll around the site you will encounter so of the worlds most endangered animals and also take a peek back to prehistoric times when Dinosaurs roamed the earth. The park is home to the worlds only full size animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex as well as Lions, Wolves, Sea Lions, Meerkats and many other species, Top attractions include the amazing Sea Lion Shows, Falconry Display and Sea Lion Swims.

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families. There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings. Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast". There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga. As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
