Orchard View Lodge Reviews

Robert
The cottage was finished to a very high standard and was very clean and comfortable. We found the garage a great way to keep our muddy boots from messing up the cottage and obviously keeping the car safe. Will definitely be visiting again.
We had an amazing stay at the lodge. All the facilities were first class. We enjoyed using the cooperate membership for the Exeter Golf and Leisure club. The location of the lodge is great, a short drive to Exeter and to the coast. We would highly recommend for anyone else to stay here!
Our 2nd time here, what a great place to stay, luxurious and fantastic, lots of places to visit in Devon, near to motorway and a great place to chill, top quality. Dave and kay
We have just got back from a week at the lodge and it was incredible. The place is super high tech and done up to a great standards. The garden was fully enclosed for our doggies so we didnt have to worry about them roaming around the garden. The hot tub and huge bed made it the most relaxing week. The hosts are on hand if you need any help as they live just behind the property but a book is provided to explain everything to you on how everything works etc. The location is good as your around 30 minutes from the beach and the Red lion pub is just a 15 minute walk up the road and does lovely food. We never struggled getting into the garage and it was peace of mind knowing the car is safe. We couldnt recommend this place enough and will be looking at returning as soon as we can.
Had a love stay been a few times
What a wonderful little hidden gem. Everything about this place was awesome, we didnt want to come home. Everything described was very accurate. The owners were very welcoming and polite. Would definitely recommend and we will book again.
Philip
Thank you for a fantastic stay, you thought of everything and more, we felt once we stepped through the front door we were in another world, gadgets everywhere, i. E. the sensors for lighting, the windows upstairs that shut automatically when raining, such a lovely thought with milk, bread, eggs, butter and even ice cubes, tea and coffee for us to use. It was of very high standard and spotless. Will definitely stay again..thank you ...Phil an karen...
A lovely well equipped property. Everything about the house was geared towards comfort. And all the fitments are of a high quality.
Nassim
Really enjoyed our stay a fantastic spot to explore other parts of Devon. A lovely welcome pack was much appreciated with essentials upon arrival. Property is fully equipped with hi spec TV speakers. We also really enjoyed the hot tub wed love to comeback.
Absolutely fantastic week, everything you need for a relaxing holiday , and the staff at the Red Lion were very welcoming.
Carole
An absolutely amazing place beautifully furnished and maintained. Hot tub was an added bonus even in the rain as its sheltered. We had a lovely walk to Killerton house across the fields. We would definitely recommend and will certainly be back. Thanks for having us.
Michael
Our stay was fantastic its the only place I have ever stayed that had the most comfortable bed. The owner was very helpful but not intrusive, would recommend this cottage to anyone in fact we already have.
What an amazing property to stay in. I can't praise it enough. Very spacious, Huge comfy bed, jacuzzi bath, rain shower, comfortable sofa and living room space, huge TV with all sky channels, top quality kitchen and all utensils. Dishwasher, Fridge and Freezer. Excellent Hot Tub outside and private garden space. The list goes on. Great hosts, very helpful, food essentials milk, bread, eggs provided on arrival to get you started. I could happily live there! If you are thinking about booking this one or another, this is the one to go for.

Really nice stay in December for my birthday. Facilities were brilliant and everything was catered for. Helpful advice from owners which was reassuring. Bed was unbelievable and we always had great sleeps. Very good overall.
Andrew
Thankyou a lovely holiday in your fantastic holiday home it really is 5 star and credit to you and your builder hopefully return one day highly recommended. Andy and Sandra
The most stunning house ever! Everything was spotless and maintained to a high standard, very private but also close enough to get to places. We had a very relaxing stay and were very happy with our stay! Thank you so much my partner had a lovely 30th birthday getaway. 100 would and have recommended to family and friends.
This is a great appartment, well located to acess Devon and motoways. Reversing into the gargage was tricky due to road traffic, best to do it during day light hours. It requires a second person to guide you out. The weather in November was wet but was more than compensated by the beautiful appartment which had all the modern equipment one could ask for. Thank you for a great break.
Christopher
Excellent, really enjoyed our stay, weather was poor though! , It suited us well for our trip. The host was attentive, location good and the property was in excellent order, nothing missing as far as we were concerned.
This place is amazing, great location and the property is so luxurious with all the mod cons, and the garden with the raised decking with the hot tub is out of this world,we could of stayed here forever, shops, restaurants, and places to visit easy to get to with motorway not far away, would definitely stay here again 1010.
Georgina
The perfect stay! Every detail was thought of and then all the added extras made our stay very special. The hot tub was especially nice for our relaxing holiday. Very romantic for a couple to take some time for themselves.
Lovely property, well equipped with all mod cons and having electric velux windows was brilliant
Well appointed and extremely well equipped property, very comfortable and superbly clean. Ideal location to explore the Jerasic Coast, would definitely recommend and will return. Regards Martin & JULIE.
We spent a week here and although the weather wasnt on our side the accommodation was superb, from the sensor lights to huge bed, the perfect wifi to the quality of the kitchen equipment we could not have asked for more, so many ideas for our place now thank you guys!
When trying to book a last minute hot tub holiday for the week I needed, I kept coming back to this property when searching, one because of the reviews but also the photos and the description of what they provided for the money compared with other properties. The property is of high quality and it was a lovely touch of the bread, milk and eggs for our arrival, plus the owner is only a phone call away if needed during your holiday. I would say it is very good value for money and would definitely book again if visiting Devon.
Patricia
Excellent base for touring the area. Lovely decor and super comfortable bed. Being able to load the car direct from lodge to garage without going outside was a real bonus. Lodge very well equipped, can't think of anything we needed or wanted that wasn't already there. Would be very happy to stay here again.
Beverley
Our stay at the cottage was so enjoyable . The property is decorated to high spec and great attention to detail. It was so lovely to find milk, bread and eggs available for us when we arrived , a nice touch . We were aware that the property is close to the road , so when its hot and the windows are open you can hear the traffic . However the bedroom and hot tub are at the back of the property so didnt hear the traffic . We would definitely go back again .
Gordon
We stayed at Lodge in May for our anniversary . We found the lodge absolutely stunning with fitted all mod cons and amazing decor . You will find everything you need to enjoy your stay with complete sonos throughout the lodge, and a complete sky package hubby was pleased so he didn't miss our team at Wembley final . To top it all off the hot tub was just needed after spending days out visit tourist attractions . The lodge is in a small village , we found all the locals very freindly as we were out walking our dog .. Local pub and shop within 10min walk dog freindly .. amazing time would highly recommend, the owners Kerion and Gill live locally and were happy to accommodate .. would love to book again soon ..
Selena
Absolutely fantastic ! The cottage was spotlessly clean with all mod cons. A lot of thought has gone in to the cottage and its facilities including a jacuzzi bath & amazing hot tub ! Keiron our host couldnt have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful given us information on local walks for our dog including a lovely dog friendly country pub near by. We cannot recommend this stunning holiday cottage highly enough.
