We had a fabulous week here, helped by some lovely dry and warm weather. The property itself is superb and has everything you could wish for in it. It was all super clean and tidy and has a very modern look and feel. Jordan is a great host, and we loved the welcome pack. The position is pretty ideal for exploring the North Devon coast. We had trips to Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, Croyde, and Barnstaple. Recommend hiring an ebike from Tarka Trail Cycle Hire in Barnstaple.

Jordan met us on arrival to show us around etc, we had traveled from Cumbria so the welcoming pack was a wonderful extra, the lodge was beautiful, modern and clean. The sun beds were a fantastic bonus on hot days, the patio area is a little sun trap. The hot tub was used daily when we arrived back from our day out. Its especially relaxing with the lights on at dusk. We loved how private it was with no one around. We were sad to leave this little gem of a place but will definitely be back.

5 stars all the way!! Lovely welcome pack on arrival, Jordan met us and explained all the mod cons! Superb location close to Woolacombe, Croyde and Ilfracombe Hot tub was very welcoming after a day out exploring the countryside and many beaches. Air con was amazing in the bedroom and patio area was very relaxing. Massive power shower, Bluetooth spe akers throughout,all aspects of the Lodge was well thought of and made a splendid stay! The lodge is stunning and there is more than you need for a holiday. Towels, robes, slippers, prosecco etc were a lovely touch. The bed is very comfortable and a great shower. It could be a little too high tec for some people. It would be nice to have some sort of shelter over the jacuzzi for bad weather. The sofa looks lovely but is very uncomfort able. Very quiet peaceful location.

On arrival there was an electronic gate, which immediately made you feel secure. All entry details were given before arrival. On driving through the opened gate it looked fabulous. The accommodation was just the best ever, so very modern and exceptionally clean. Fresh flowers, fudge, biscuits and bottle of bubbly on the table. As soon as you enter it's the WOW!!! factor. We stayed at the Woolacombe retreat for 4 nights as a birthday gift. The lodge exceeded our expectations when we first arrived, it is in a great location just a few miles from the beach, and the host Jordan arrived shortly after us to show all the features of the lodge. The rooms were a great size and everything there was very modern, especially th e kitchen. The hot tub was an amazing bonus and the Bluetooth speakers throughout were a nice extra. There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings. Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast". There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga. As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
