Great place, excellent facilities! Keen to come back next year!
Elizabeth
The property is in a lovely position with beaches and other attractions easily accessible a short drive away. The owners were available and very responsive to any queries we had. The games barn and hot tub were an excellent facility for wet days and lively children.
Lovely place apart from the mosquitoes. Spacious, clean, quiet. Spent quite a bit of time in the barn. Very pleasant but imagine could be quite chilly over the winter.
Rebecca
Fantastic property, really spacious, great for large families. The games room was great fun, including the hot tub. Well equipped, and had everything you needed. There was a few minor niggles, wonky toilet seats, and squeaky beds. On the whole really clean, a few areas could have been cleaner along skirting, etc, and a few dishes. The lady who looked after the property was lovely. Would definitely use again!
A lovely, comfortable property in a beautiful setting which was plenty big enough for the 9 of us from three generations to get together. The games barn and hot tub were well used because of the summer we have had this year and when the sun managed to shine we also loved the garden and barbecue. The cottage was very well resourced and the only minor quibble we had was that the double beds had double sized duvets which seemed a bit small! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants a big holiday house in this part of Dorset.
Amazing location, and a beautiful cottage. Clean and well equipped. Would definitely recommend and book same cottage again. Minor niggles, gravel surrounding cottage made it slightly more difficult for our nan. She can't walk unaided, so entering and leaving were a little tricky, however she totally enjoyed her stay. The only other point was that some of the mattresses were a little soft for our taste, but that is personal preference and didn't spoil our enjoyment and we will definitely book again.
We were 4 couples and a toddler and the Cottage easily accommodated us. There were plenty of cookingcleaningtoiletshower facilities and room for us all inside and out. The Games barn and hot tub was a standout feature, as was the location peaceful and idyllic. Thoroughly recommended if you want basic accommodation in a lovely location that takes up to 11 people.
One of the best equipped places we have stayed the only thing missing was a breadknife
The farmhouse was very big plenty of room for all of my family lots of garden ... The farmhouse was very big plenty of room for all of my family lots of garden space for the kids to play in,games room was very good kept everyone occupied hot tub was excellent we really enjoyed our weekend there enough parking for 3 cars we would definitely recommend

We had a lovely stay at the Court House Farmhouse. We really enjoyed our tour of the farm given by Sue, she was very informative and we loved seeing how the robotic milking machine worked, amazing! It's a great place for a family gathering, and there was something for our 3 generations to enjoy. The games room was a real winner and the hot tub was an added bonus. This isn't a criticism just a tip for anyone else booking the farmhouse, there isn't a hairdryer at the property or a separate mattress for the travel cot. But on saying that we had the best time, and have already recommended it to some of our friends and family
Kenneth
The property was excellent, in a beautiful countryside setting with everything provided that you possibly need. The games room was a real bonus.

Four ex and current NHS secretaries spent a brilliant week in Courthouse Farmhouse. House was very comfortable and warm. We had some wet and windy weather, but with the addition of the games barn giving us many happy hours of table tennis, darts and 9 pin bowling, we were kept very busy! Thanks to Sue for letting us see the robotic milking and the numerous calves. And thanks to Kay and your ladies for a well kept comfortable holiday cottage.
Stephanie
Lovely farmhouse with everything we needed for a multi generational stay. Views from conservatory were lovely, especially early morning as the mist lifted. Ideal location for touring the area. Owners are very helpful. We shall hopefully be returning next year.
Nicola
This place was amazing, the only down side was the snooker and pool tables, as you cant play, the tables are not straight and the balls rolled into the middle no matter what shot you took.
Christopher
Games barn not great pool and snooker tables broken, skittles not really great condition
Wonky toilet seat in showeroom downstairs, otherwise perfect cottage for family in beautiful surroundings. Thank you to Kay for checking hot tub daily. Thank you to Sue for a very informative, interesting tour around your farm and taking the time to let children have photos on a tractor. The robotic milking was amazing. Overall , a lovely property including play barn & sauna , nice enclosed gardens, close to lovely beach Lyme Regis & wonderful for Fossil foredging at Charmouth beach , we all went home with Fossells.
Courthouse Farmhouse is a spacious, comfortable, well equipped holiday home, ideal for large family gatherings. Our visit was multi generational so the layout and size of property suited us very well. The country location was idyllic yet within easy reach of amenities. We spent a wonderful long weekend at the farmhouse and were sad to leave. Fully intend to return for another visit.
As a three generation family holiday venue, we could not have chosen much better. The layout of the house suited us perfectly and the big kitchendining room have us lots of space at breakfast time. We were lucky to have fantastic weather so the big garden with all the tables and chairs gave us an alternative seating space for evenings. Would happily stay here again.
Christine
We all had a very enjoyable time at Court House Farmhouse. The facilities were adequate and true to their description. Beds very comfortable and so quiet at night with no traffic noise. The views were amazing and we spent every evening playing games in the garden. The hot tub was made use of and enjoyed by all. Lovely walks through the village and interesting church to look round. The dog enjoyed it too. Would recommend this property.

Had a lovely week at Court House Farmhouse, Garden was beautiful with amazing views, my grandchildren loved seeing the sheep in the next field to us. House was great & games barn was brilliant but both were a little tired & needed updating. Saying that would definitely stay there again in the future. My only downside was the very narrow road getting to & from the property.
I was assured the hot tub was cleaned, and it wasn't. It had a lot of grit in it. And the sides were very built up dirt. The fridges and freezers were off. Previous visitors underwhere behind the sofa and previous rubbish also left behind and under many of the furniture.
Courthouse Farm was a lovely home from home and was a super space to meet up with the whole family and two dogs. It was a treat to be on the farm and seeing the cows and sheep from the windows and garden . Beautiful, breathtaking views from every window. Garden itself conveniently for us divided in two was fenced and safe for our dogs. Facilities were generous, peaceful and close to great places to visit. Good parking, loved the jacuzzi and games barn. Host was lovely. We had a perfect week.
Teacosy would be useful. Cleanliness generally could be better, particularly of kitchen shelves, cupboards and bathrooms. Otherwise just as we remembered from our last visit, 3 years ago. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
Patrick
Nice, if basic, cottage. Ideal for a young family. The play barn was useful as was the hot tub. The Garden, however, is stunning and worth the price by itself.
Everything about the holiday was brilliant ,no problem at all . Will use sykes holidays again.
The whole cottage needs refurbishing. The lounge furniture has seen better days, the main kitchen units some doors are loose. The main door lock does not work correctly. some of the double glazing in the sun lounge has blown and the roof is filthy outside There just seemed a lack of attention to detail. I have never had a request to check the bin day, and put the bins out, especially when the owner lives next door, and the list of do's and don'ts well, you have to sign a disclaimer before you use the hot tub that is a page long what happens if you don't sign. Overall the whole place is tired, and may be just covers the basics.
The accommodation was perfect for our three generation family.
Jasmine
Location is beautiful, the property has loads of space and great facilities. Really enjoyed this place
Such a lovely cottage with the added bonus of being on a farm. The children loved the cows on the field. Great location for the Jurassic coast. Charmouth just a short drive away. Lovely owners. We had the perfect weekend and we Definitely be back.
A lovely family holiday in Covid safe and secure surroundings. Well designed house and garden with plenty of space for relaxation and for meals. The games room and hot tub where there when the beach or surrounding countryside where too much effort! Ideal for the extended family to be together after an isolated spring.
The property's accommodation was as described, very well appointed and comfortable. The owner was lovely, turned the heating on in the morning so the property was warm upon our arrival, met us in the early evening to check there were no issues and brief us on the locality. Overall an excellent find and a lovely holiday in beautiful Dorset. I am happy for you to publish our feedback but not with my e mail attached etc.
Jacqueline
A lovely quiet holiday rental in a beautiful, peaceful location. The barn with table tennis, pool, snooker and skittles was a great success, as was the hot tub, with the three generations who stayed there. The large garden would have been a bonus had the weather been better. Easy access to many of Dorset's lovely beaches. Thank you.
Leonora
An excellent property for a multi generational holiday near the coast. There was plenty of room and an excellent garden. The house was well equipped, lots of fridges, washing machine and tumble drier. The beaches of Charmouth, Seatown and Lyme Regis are all very close by. We also loved our trip around the farm.
The Cottage live exactly upto expectations as shown in photo's. This is located on a working farm, which we invited to go around, and the whole family enjoyed it and found it really intresting. For the week we stayed the weather was good and allowed us to make the most of all the facilites provided, as well allowing the dog to safely run in the secure garden with the kids. An ideal place to have a vacation with the whole family including granparents, with plenty of room to spare.
Claire
Beautiful place to stay for our weeks holiday, everything we needed and more. Adored seeing the cows in the field at the bottom of the garden every day and so did our border collie ! The configuration of the cottage was perfect for our large family, no one felt on top of each other. The beds were very comfy and the family said they hadnt slept so well in ages. Everything you need is a very short drive away down scenic country roads which was great. The games room is something else ! The kids loved it and were entertained the whole time, including us adults. Would love to stay again and have more time to explore and couldnt recommend highly enough.
Lesley
Really good location close to lots of lovely seaside towns very quiet peaceful setting
