Lynwood Lodge The Log Cabin Reviews

Tracy
Just returned from a lovely 5 day stay at the log cabin, beautifully presented cabin with everything you would need. The bed was so comfortable, everything was perfect. Would definitely come back. Great location for visiting coastal towns. Our dog loved the sandy beaches. Would recommend the Smugglers Inn for food.
Kate
I loved my stay at The Log Cabin over Christmas, with the dog. The owners are great & happy to chat when they see you but leave you alone when you're in the property. It's really thoughtfully laid out for dog owners, with all the fences making the property fully enclosed so no risk of any escapees, and even a little bin for the poo bags! It's reallRead morey easy to get to all the amazing beaches and walks nearby. The kitchen is well equipped & the property really comfortable. The hot tub is a bonus Hide
Steph
This placd is amazing, comfort personified. Amazing views and cabin. You have everything you could need. Just outside weymouth, 8 miles from monkey world and bovington tank museum. Central to get to all places. Amazing 5 star property

Jim

Tony
An absolute perfect place to spend a week, lovely place, lovely host, nothing more to say.
Winifred
Fantastic accommodation. Everything anyone may need. Thank you for everything
Kim
Nice stay in the log cabin, friendly and welcoming owners. The accommodation itself isn't in walking distance of local amenities so if you like a stroll to your local pub or shop this wouldn't be ideal, so spent a lot of time in the car. The log cabin was hot in this heat we did request a fan which we were furnished with. A washing machine would beRead more handy and a BBQ! All in all a nice pleasant stay but a bit to remote for us but I am sure would be great for others! Hide

Lynwood Lodge was an such amazing holiday accommodation that met our needs. It was sited in a lovely location, close to all the main places of interest and was spacious enough for the two of us and our two dogs. Hayley and Dave went out of their way to make us welcome by not only giving us information on the local area but also providing us with ch ocolate and wine on arrival. The hot tub was welcome relief after a full day of exploring. We would definitely recommend a holiday there.
Patricia
Owners made us feel very welcome couldn't do enough for us we are coming back next year
Ruth

Philip
Great property, ideally placed for all the local areas. The owners greeted us and showed us to our accommodation, explaining where to visit and places to walk our dog. The Log cabin was spotless and Dave and Haley left us a bottle of wine and chocolates , a nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was over too soon. We will definitely be v isiting again in again in the near future.
Kevin
First impressions of the cabin it was Very smart and welcoming. The facilities inside were of a very high standard. The decor throughout is lovely and the layout of the kichin area and living room well planned and comfortable. The shower room is very good, The bedroom area is spacious and everything down to the bed linen was fist class. The outside area with the hot tub was big enough to relax in and private. The feeling of relaxing like it was your own home made it very special to us.
Jon
The location is central for anywhere you needed to go.
Adrian
Lovely well equipped cabin with a sea view and the owners were very welcoming and friendly
Mathew
Had an amazing stay at the log cabin. Great accommodation, really well appointed with everything you'd need for a stay. The hosts were attentive without being invasive which was just what we wanted. The location is wonderful, equidistant from Weymouth and Dorchester, with Lulworth just down the road. 2 nice oubs nearby, the food in the Black Dog is pretty special! Thank you for having us!
Deb
The cabin and surrounding properties are all really lovely , and owners go a long way to make your stay special . Our only disappointment was that you were unable to walk directly out of the property . This being to a lack of footpath and a busy road
Lindsey
We needed some down time after a stressful few months. Weather was poor but didnt keep us from using the hot tub every evening! Location is ideal for a quick trip into Weymouth and we enjoyed walks at Bowlease Cove and Portland too. We had our Labrador with us. The small enclosed garden was fine for the necessaries but he enjoyed a supervised explo re of the terraces too. I think they would be lovely on a summers evening, with a sea view in the distance.
Allison
This property had the wow factor in a stunning location. Beautifully spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we would need and more, for our stay. Hot tub all heated and ready to sink into after a day out walking. Your own small garden for letting your dog out in the middle of the night. Allocated secure parking. Owners Hayley and Dave perfect hosts. Could not fault any aspect. Would highly recommend. Will book again soon.
Nicola
Great accommodation , everything you need in the Lodge, hosts really helpful but not intrusive. Will definitely be returning.
PAMELA
VERY TASTFULLY DECORATED WELL EQUIPPED KITCHEN
Stephen
Great winter break , would recommend
Sarah
Lovely welcome very informative of local dog walks and good pubs for food nearby, situated in a beautiful spot just outside Weymouth. Accommodation is a very high standard, very well equipped and lovingly maintained, would certainly recommend and will be visiting again, many thanks.
Tony
Fantastic break away from the norm, the hot tub was fantastic the only problem was you are not allowed in the hot tub if its raining, which I didn't really understand why
Nicholas
Stayed in the Log Cabin for a week and everything was perfect. From when you enter at the gate to being in the lodge was very clean and tidy. Lovely views of fields in the distance and a nice size up hill garden to walk around which if you like wildlife is great as I saw a Green Woodpecker and a Kestrel. Also heard an Owl in the night and there was also Deer across the road in a field. The owners are very friendly and gave some great info on places to visit and eat.
Jack
Fantastic accommodation and much more spacious than I thought when booking. The lodge looks great, was well decorated and very clean. Modern appliances and plenty of cooking utensils for cooking. The owners were extremely welcoming, kind and accommodating. I cannot fault anything. Would go back again & recommend.
Peter
I would recommend the accommodation 100%. The hot tub was great even though the weather was chilly. Overall our stay was perfect.
Keith
This is a very comfortable, stylish place with everything you could want for a break away. I would definitely recommend the Log Cabin and would book again. Ideal location close to beaches and pubs. The hot tub topped it off for us. That added luxury and relaxation after a day of site seeing :-)
Mark
Lovely little cottage with its own private hot tub.. Home from home feeling with electric gates to get in, so very safe.. Fantastic location if you are exploring Weymouth and surrounding areas.
David
Fabulous. First holiday to Weymouth, could not fault it. We stayed in the log cabin. Fully fitted kitchen, super comfortable bed, shower room, hot tub and smart TV with WiFi. The owners welcomed us with wine and chocolates and even rustled up a camp bed for our 12 year old daughter as her onward trip had been postponed for a day. Loads of walks to do with the dog. And take a walk down the lane to the Smugglers for fish and chips.
Winifred
Lovely accommodation. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. See you next year.
Michael
A very comfortable lodge furnished to a high standard in an excellent location to explore the Dorset coast. The hot tub was brilliant and was very welcome when we returned from our days outings. Very dog friendly and secure. Dave and Hayley made us very welcome and we will certainly return. Five star in all respects
Beverley
The log cabin was perfect in every way! We absolutely loved it. Beautiful location and ideal for a relaxing few days. The hot tub was awesome and was enjoyed so much more knowing the dogs were in a totally secure enclosed little garden. Wine and chocolate on arrival were a welcome addition!
Nigel

Doug
